There are many choices; the problem is the People behind the scenes that heavily influence both parties. No other person could run for President due to the connections needed to gain favor within the political atmosphere, whether Right or Left. It takes alot of money to run for President, and viable candidates just don't have it nor will the People back them. Very rarely do the People support a viable candidate... Obama for example.

Madam Newscaster, I believe you need to do your homework. Read what this conflict is really about ( may I suggest, The One Hundred Years War, by Hashid Khalidi). Find out when the conflict started ( pass that info. on to the good Senator ). Research when Hamas started up and who helped fund them. Hamas follows an ideology. You are not going to destroy that ideology by killing innocent Palestinians. Netanyahu follows an ideology too…… the Zionist ideal as well as Fascismi, both of which have played an important role in the horrible plight of the Palestinians. After one hundred years of ethnic cleansing, displacement, being killed for their land, and now bombing with 200 lb bombs, famine and genocide, how much longer must they suffer? The fact that Israel has committed a lot of wrongs doesn't justify what Hamas did on Oct 7. One can relate to how Hamas feels, and understand their actions, however. I don't support Israel nor Hamas. They're both doing all sorts of evil things - Israel more-so than Hamas, but that's simply because Hamas doesn't have the US giving them weapons like Israel does. It's a shame that Bernie Sanders isn't president. He would have kept Israel from killing so many innocent civilians.

This is what is really tiring about Kirsten Walker. When in the world are you going to change your "concerns" about the age issue? for... sakes. Why are you concerned about the age of capable, sane, and honorable men, and not the youth of insurrectionists in the House and Senate who have gone to Ivy League/elite universities? Those are better questions to ask and to be concerned. I don't even know why I keep trying to give Kirsten a chance as a host of this show. When TWO OLD presidential candidates are running, then the age factor should not be the way you decide how you vote. The contrast is stark, and she keeps and keeps on, and keeps on, and keeps on going about "old age". I now believe the age thing is a narrative created by Kirsten Walker and similar anchors/shows to create a soap-opera when there is none.

If the media could hold more than 1 thought in their head they would talk about Palestine, Sudan, The Congo and the millions of other atrocities being committed. When you trace the weapons used in these conflicts they trace back to the US government.

I don't know that we have to put one group's suffering over the other, but I certainly agree that Sudan needs and deserves attention. Any nation that claims to be humanitarian should care about the millions of displaced civilians starving and the thousands dying there in conflict between the SAF and RSF. The International Crisis Committee and BBC alone seem concerned.
