the thing is that they weren't all stonewall pens. only one was truly egregious, the third one no doubt should have been given. the other two were debatable, with similar plays going one way or the other on occasion. the issue is that forest is trying to accuse the league of corruption without much evidence really. they can and probably should be upset, but they just look whiny by doing this

@@prodfalling”only one” as though it wouldn’t be the headline for DAYS if Liverpool lost to Everton because of ONE penalty shout? Get real. All the arguments about the other two not being pens are a joke. Put Young on the goal line when he handles the ball and no one would argue. Move him three yards to the left and suddenly he “has” to run with his arms in the air, natural position and all that other bollocks. The fact of the matter is that people are desperately searching for reasons that they weren’t mistakes instead of asking the question: would each of those pens have been given if they came against the top 6 clubs in separate matches? I think they’d all have been given. Only reason they weren’t is because refs are allowed to subjectively interpret the rules. Something that is OBJECTIVELY not allowed in any other sport. It’s ruining the game.

Freedom of speech shouldn’t be punishable especially when the club has substantial concerns. PGMOL is gradually becoming a god.

The officiating has been shambolic all season. A team calling that out shouldn't be dragged for calling that out. NBC shouldn't be in league with the refs. The Robbies have been off the plot for a few years now. Need new pundits.

They are paid to support the league. It’s obvious they are bias. Some of the questionable Calls. Non calls. And var inconsistent calling is shameful. Screams corruption . The money flowing in this and other leagues is enormous. Refs are not perfect but if the whole stadium sees the obvious but var is not involved then something needs to be adjusted.

Robbie Earl said on Sunday that if it were true that forest warned PGMOL beforehand, it would be “very big news”, but now he’s seemingly changed perspective and is putting blame on Forest. Was he told not to take that side of the argument? Perhaps his opinion just changed too. Weird though

It was the same with the Liverpool/Tottenham debacle. Both Neville and Carragher were talking about how terrible it was at the time and then 24 hours later criticized Liverpool for complaining about it. It's basically their paymasters (the broadcaster) keeping them in line to protect the product.

@@thanekrios3211Tbf, the optics of how Liverpool and Klopp handled that was far worse given that they were advocating for replaying the whole game due to just one mistake. Not saying it wasn't an equally bad call, but I can understand why someone would change their opinion on it.

So we all agree that they were penalties if not at least 2 of them. We also all agree that forest did definitely contact the pgmol to voice their concerns that a var member that day was a luton fan and that it could be a conflict of interest. We also know pgmol denied their request. We all know that is what forest have said in that statement. They haven't accused var of bias. They have accused the pgmol of not doing their job and their concerns have pretty much been confirmed with 3 penalties not given by var. Please tell me how the pundits can't see how pgmol the ref and var is in the wrong at all points. I'll tell you what happens soon and why ex players/pundits are going against forest. Because they are going to bring in ex players as pgmol refs. They are already training them up and they are all looking out for their own interests. Not football and the fans. It just adds another job to ex footballers that didn't earn enough. Mark my words its coming soon.

You people are act like it doesn’t bother you. it’s supposed to bother you. all of this decision is made in one game and they don’t have the right to have an opinion or outburst. That’s mental you former players don’t have to deal with the VAR that much so it don’t bother you because you think it’s fair. it’s what the referee sees what he call. They introduced VAR to improve the game and it’s not that’s a problem. You can talk about the way they go about it, but it’s frustrating.

Marinakis is a loose cannon. No way that Tweet was released without his blessing. He has been at the center of controversy in the Greek league for years including being investigated for match fixing, a stadium ban in 2021 for abusing a ref and most recently stepping down as president of the Greek league last December. With a point deduction for PSR looming, is this a ploy by Marinakis to be able to blame some of the deduction on the Tweet in order to appeal?

Disagree. After no red for Nicolas Jackson stamp today (on Tomiyasu) or the non-call on Grealish in Man City v Chelsea in FA Cup. The PGMOL is broken and someone needs to call them out.

Corruption can be infectious but agreed that the Championship is a quality competition With so many teams there having been in the old First Division, the Championship has a historic quality. It also feels more real. What football should be

If referees did their job properly and var was run by competent persons NFFC wouldn't have had to draw eyes to the problems we can all see. If it's not corruption the it is incompetence of the highest order. Everyday people lose jobs over less incompetency than shown by the PGMOL but no one is allowed to question this?

"Contextual rivalries". What a load of nonsense. Refs make mistakes, players and managers do too, we do not accuse them of being cheats when they mess up. You can criticize calls without throwing out wild accusations and indulging the paranoia of football fans.

Premier League officiating is woeful. It is inconsistent at best and VAR seems to highlight the human error it was instituted to minimize. It is certainly not up to the level of PL managing and playing. I'll start watching La Liga or Serie A.

All 3 of you should be ashamed of yourselves. There are plenty of refs to cover the games. Oliver has given interviews in the past saying that he has not been allowed to referee games in relegatiin battles when New Castle were in relegation. The 3 of you and NBC are a disgrace.

Forest sour grapes, they got spanked by Everton. Ref was right on all three. If you see the third one, Young makes a touch with the ball but its hard to see due to the camera angle, and the Forest player trips on the ball as it rolls. The ref saw this clearly. Forest CEO a joke. Also, how would Luton gain an advantage??? Everton are almost just as close to Luton in the table! Forest should get points deducted for this behaviour.
