Disinterested is the best way to describe them. The Phillies fall behind early and then just kinda go through the motions. Half-interested swings, watching pitches down the middle, kinda just wanting to get the game over. Hate the Braves all you want, but they fought til the end on Friday, and almost came back. Yesterday and today, once the Phils fell behind, you kinda knew that was it.

Rojas is VERY VERY young, he needs time to develop, he needs to spend the rest of this year down in AAA, not as punishment but so he can continue his development as normal because he skipped AAA initially and went from AA to the majors which probably messed him up.

The Phillies are lousy when there are men on base. They scored 2 runs in last year’s playoffs and they show no reason to believe they have improved. They are horrible with hitting in men on base.

@waynewatson7255 his stuff is still there , some very good hitting by Ozuna on a curveball down low in zone , it's his command of his fastball and lack of a good change-up , I think he has too many pitches right now , cutter is his 5th pitch , he used to be a fastball changeup only and he dominated ,

ATL is a good ball club, like Rueben says. They are a force and the Phillies need to play their top game in 2024 to beat them. The last two years are yesterday. They also won a WS without Acuna so you have to look at that.

Don't say it would be different with Harper, Schwarber, and Realmuto. They combine for 127 RBIs in a combined 200 games, which wouldn't give the team 7 runs. This was a mirror image of the Orioles series. Can this team remain consistent and win at least 3 series in a row in the playoffs?

Pro sports in general is all theatrics. The league does not want Philly getting a big lead this early in the season against Atlanta. It is bad for TV ratings since the league has a lot of money invested in Atlanta. It's all rigged. Pro sports wants parity. The only thing important is TV contracts and ratings, Vegas sports gambling, and corporate money. This has corrupted pro sports and is why I don't go to games or spend money on pro sports. Go to a game and you will spend hundreds of dollars just to watch a 9 inning game. They are screwing the fans.
