Stubbs came prepared. Harper laments having been tossed from the previous game and casually mentions he could have made a difference when it mattered, a double Into a gap, a homer. He certainly proved his point in the ninth of this one. Good to see them come away with a win. After the kind of home series they just had, at the Bank, where the energy is sky high. They just swept the Rangers. Denver has an odd energy. The team is awful, there’s not a lot of energy coming from the crowd, early in the first game, it almost felt like we were back in March playing in Florida. This is obviously a team we should be or sweep, but lots of opportunity for a major letdown after riding sky high for an entire month. Good win for the Phillies, nice job of fighting through an off night for Nola. Sanchez looked good yesterday too.

Braves are 18-11 against sub .500 teams. Their dans talk about our schedule, but they can’t beat the bad teams. That is why they are 7 games back.

Anyone on the Phillies can do anything. It only takes 1 guy to get the rest of the team going, which is why they're so hard to beat. You don't have to rely on your superstars to carry the team, like you would with the Sixers.

I was one of the people bitching Nola up a storm when he started losing control, but being the guy he is, he brought it all back in the last 2 or 3 innings. Unfortunately, his pitch count was way too high by the 6th inning. He's a major asset to the roster.

Somedays you just don’t got it, even the best have off days. The fact that he got through the sixth pretty strong was a huge W. That game looked like it was about to be an ugly loss early on, but Nola weathered the storm and started putting up 0s.
