I think that throughout centuries, slavery showed a very dark nature of a human being. Slavery was never compatible with Christian faith, thus, it is even more disturbing how those European so called Christians could live with themselves for so long. I am also European Christian/Roman Catholic, however, I am from Poland and I know that Poland or Polish people despise slavery. I just read in the "news" that California is pushing toward compensation for people who were slaves in this country and I think it's about time that those rich people, "the old money" should be redistributed among families who suffered so much! FYI, Poland was for 123 years under Prussia/Russia/Austria's occupation where Polish people where submitted to many repressions and oppressions for more than 100 years and we know all too well what that means to have no freedom. Here is a little story that is actually based on historical facts: during the Napoleon colonial power, Polish army has been sent to Haiti to suppress the local rebellion or revolt against French power, however, as the Polish soldiers continued to fight with the local people who were black slaves as well, they realized that this is not right so that they switch sides! So they end up fighting against French forcing French army out of the island. In honor of Polish army, the first Haitian leader had announced the first Haitian constitution and declared Polish people officially as black Haitians! 😊Until this day there are ancestors of those noble soldiers living in Haiti. I think they called them creoles. Regarding NCLEX, I am taking my NCLEX this Thursday, May 30th. I am huge procrastinator, thus, I like to watch your recordings because I feel like you are talking straight to and through my soul 😅. Your "speeches" motivate" me so much! Thank you Regina!
