Hey guys. You are watching a video about tips on how to pass your NCLEX. Me and my brother took two NCLEX exams, one for the RN and one for the LVN/LPN. For both tests, we used these exact tips that you are about to see. Thankfully, we passed both tests on our first attempt. We hope this helps. I highly recommend the Saunders NCLEX book and Uworld for practice questions those two are all you need!

NCLEX Licensed Vocational Nurse (lvn) or Licensed Practical Nurse (lpn). Depending on which state you are in, these terms are interchangeable.

Greetings Preethi. Wow, that was a long time ago. In our opinion, you should look into some refresher course that is available online or near you. This is because nursing is dynamic. Most evidence-base practice(EBP) have changed through out the years. Many EBP's that are acceptable back have been changed. So I suggest getting a refresher course just to keep up with what is current. But the tips that you can find in this video will definitely help you as well. Let us know if you have more questions. Kayang kaya yan! Do practice questions daily! Then the rationales for those questions will serve as a review!

I am long time faculty. I disagree with two points. First the best prep book our there is Mosbys Comprehensive review for NCLEX RN. Secondly 75 questions a day is not nearly enough to guarantee a pass on the first attempt. It takes more like 200 to 300 per day. I am 27 year full time faculty and have tutored over 400 students for boards in my nearly 40 year career and these don't include students I taught in a program. Heed my advice. Good luck!
