You can say they don’t have contracts, but if you can’t pay off your phone before 3 years without consequences of losing your promotion credits, that’s saying you can’t go anywhere without paying a fee, which is eventually a form of a contract. If you don't want to call it a contract, call it scamming people. In the last month, AT&T services went down twice for over 12 hours with no communication to its customers or compensation for the inconvenience. Now, there is this major data breach. I don't have anything to hide, but many people don't want their phone history out there for the public to see. They used to be a reputable company. Now they are living by their name.
