Multimedia Man That’s why I loved Johns at DC. The man left such an impact with so many characters and you could tell he loved DC. In short I compare Johns to Bendis in what he managed to do for comics and garnering so many readers.

@@Strat-o-caster Oh yeah. Current Bendis no. But back in his prime both contributed significantly at their respective companies. Also on a side note I remember that Johns did a great avengers comic briefly.

OmniNation Conics Johns is a legend and could sell comics. I wouldn’t have gotten into DC comics if it weren’t for Johns.

Yes to Young Justice! I enjoy that run even more than this great run.

Same, I really want DC to do some Peter David omnis. Young Justice, Aquaman, and Supergirl all deserve that format.

I got into comics by reading the DC classics Watchmen, Kingdom Come, The Dark Knight Returns, etc... But where I really got into the main continuity was reading Green Lantern Rebirth. The man bleeds DC. He knows how to write all the characters phenomenally well and tells great stories. I bought the three JSA Omnis and could only get to about half way through the third volume. That run just doesn't do it for me. The Black Adam story of him taking over his country with Atom Smasher is awesome though. There needs to be a Superman By Geoff Johns Omni! Shame on DC for that. That can lead into however many volumes of Superman New Krypton they need to do the Omnis for that. On the fence with this one. I can't remember how much I liked this run but I'll think it over as the months go on. Take care and peace.

You’ve probably been recommended many comics, but comics I started with and remain my some of my favorites to this day are invincible, ultimate Spider-Man and everything Geoff Johns has ever written.

I love that era, the whole lineup was working so well leading up to Infinite Crisis.

That run is way underrated, Devon Grayson always wrote those characters and the bat family really well.

@@DBZALLSTAR absolutely. One of the reasons why I checked it out was because I’m a big fan of Geoff Johns. Wrote some of my favorite comics of all time. For example his work on Superman, Green Lantern to me are peak DC.

@@Avarn388, it seems that a lot of runs went downhill after he left, with "Green Lantern" being an exception. Rob V is so underrated.

I'd really like a deluxe edition for that one. Perez's artwork is so detailed and amazing in those that I just want to lay it out as flat as possible.

Agreed, they should have just collected the whole run rather then skipping issues - same with JLA - wish they had done the complete series rather than just the Morrison issues

Both great and different from each other. PAD and GG are both legends and have their own takes. This is a little more serious while YJ is flat out fun and funny but with tons of heart too. If I had to have one it would be YJ.

I think I would agre Bloh, one is more wholesome, the other one is darker at times but still has wholesome moments.
