I actually finished all 4 volumes of the manga about a year and a half ago. And I’m no artist or anything, but the blood effects were kind of flat. And the art didn’t look so gorgeous as the Blood+ manga. Which is another series Dark Horse Comics worked on.

This better be mapped better than the TPB, that was just all over and spoiled some stuff I mapped it better, The Venom and Ms.Marvel tie-ins didn't do much and the TPB missed a major important issue of Venom #14 or #13 which was not officially part but should've been, really makes it more enjoyable with the sorcerer The X-Men issue was one of the greatest, with Madylenne

I actually don't know anything about this event, but I'm happy that Marvel gives us a lot of options for what they release. They give us several dozen new and reprint omnis a year. I see no reason to complain when 3 or 4 aren't ones I'm personally interested in. There is plenty enough already to go around.

It means as Wells is getting to the end of his run they are planning omnibuses for it. Also I do want this, as it is the only Inferno sequel we are ever likely to get.

My number one vote will be for Promethea. But it has to be the Immateria Edition. In the future if we don’t get it by the next year can we clarify that in the vote? I know that’s how Omar will want it.

Darkweb was awful. I regret buying the single issues. Chasm/Ben Reiley was destroyed and burried in this. Marvel needs to stop releasing omni's for series no one wants.

Honestly as events go this one wasn't so much a "bad" one as it was a nearly inconsequential one. Other than Janine becoming Hallows Eve & how fun the Mary Jane/Black Cat series was, I was like "eh..." I love all things Black Cat but I'll be buying it for the ol' lady because she *moderately* enjoyed the whole thing.

I’ve enjoyed the Zeb Wells run for the most part but Dark Web was a bit of a low point. I’ll probably give this a miss and save some money and shelf space. Looking forward to the rest of the announcements!

So much crappy releases. By the time they start making Jenkins, Dematties, Defalco etc. omnis (for like 200$ maybe?), the paper will be so thin, you will need surgical tweezers to flip those through :D

Unfortunately, this ain't for me. I really wish Marvel would do a DeFalco/Frenz omni either for Spidey or Thor -- or both. A Roger Stern Avengers omni would be sweet. On the DC side, I would totally love a Joe Kelly JLA omnibus.

I feel like it's only a matter of time for Avengers Omnis, we're ALL waiting for the Stern era & I'm super impressed that they also reprinted the Simonson Thor Omni. I actually have almost all of both of those runs in single issues 😭 & well before/beyond, but I still want the omnis for ALL of the Avengers from Vol. 1 to the end of the Busiek/Perèz era.

@Matthew.E.Kelly. Stern Avengers and Busiek Avengers are the quintessential bookend runs for my era of collecting Avengers. I didn't mind Byrne and Simonson on Avengers either, but they don't have enough for their own omni. Waiting for Avengers volume 7 and 8, which I think would cover Stern (maybe Byrne and Simonson) is going to be a few years, I fear.

@@pisceanpaulI bet it will, I'm patient & resourceful so I'm not experiencing FOMO 😆 but it does remind me that my bookshelf goes from the MMW 18-19-20 (which has some overlap with the _Yesterday Quest_ EC) to the Absolute Vision 1-2 paperbacks 😕 then the Legacy of Thanos paperback before going back to ECs (just a shit-ton of them) before The Gathering, The Crossing, & Busiek/Perèz Omnis... It just busts up the overall flow of things & I know there are orphaned issues there. I can't wait to see ALL of it in every format but I'm in my 40s... There's a damn good chance I might die before that happens 🤣
