Why would it be rare for someone shorter than most to be dynamic? If u gonna compete in this level and ur short, then u gotta have to be fast, explosive, bouncy, etc… i dont think ive ever seen a small middle blocker at this level that is lazy, slow, and barely jumps… ur statement dont make sense

@@gt-lb7qd i think he’s talking about the fact that there is NOT a lot of middle blockers at any less than 6’2. Even at women’s level most middles are 6’3 and taller. Caffey isn’t known for her blocking but it’s always impressive how she can get from pin to pin for her size.

not sure about that i thought nebraska serve/receive was firm although missed serves at the wrong moments. other than that what really turned it around for wisconsin was their superb blocking. even the block touches which we don’t see in the stats were so vital for wisconsin to transition easily into kills.

@@lukehorak2682in this past season I’d say… Logan Eggleston Dani Drew’s Yossiana Presley Mac May Julia Bergmann Madi Skinner Anna Dabeer Kayla Lund Grace Cleveland Emily Londot Caitie Baird Caroline Bien The list goes on and don’t get me wrong Kubik is good but Nebraska doesn’t have great hitters they just have amazing backcourt defense and great serving that keeps them in matches.

kubik does A LOT for this nebraska team tho so i agree with his statement.

However, with her passing, defense, and other backcourt skills included, I do think she's up there. A lot of the players you listed can certainly bang a ball but aren't as relied on for passing as much as Kubik.

And the way I’ve seen them praise her for passing a free ball on target. 🙄 Elena Scott (Louisville freshman libero) seemed better to me. And Barnes deserved that 1st team all American honor and libero of the year. John cook (her own coach) was even shocked she won it….
