For those who were wondering about if Past One is Killed than it would affect the Present one, this Nebula is from the Past of the Alternate Universe. So there is no consequences.

It's sad, because it wasn't that Past Nebula refused to change, it was that after a lifetime of abuse from Thanos, she was too scared to. She was a child afraid her father would beat her for trying to speak against him.

Because according to the time travel rules of this movie, any changes made to the past simply open up an alternate universe rather than affect the one they're currently in. It's stupid and allows for no real tension whatsoever, but that's how it works in this film.

That would be a paradox. If she stops existing by shooting herself, she can't have ever shot herself in order for those events to occur in the first place.
