We need a Halloween 2 ultimate Laurie ASAP !!!

Halloween 2 is actually my favorite of the franchise. I'm not really interested in retro cloth Laurie, but Loomis is imo the best character of the first movies and I hope NECA re-releases him as a standalone 'cause unlike the recent release of Marty McFly, they nailed the actor's likeness. FINALLY! A doctor loomis figure!

I got these a week or so ago and they look even better in person. I tried over and over to get Loomis to stand and the only way I got him to was to push his knees in the wrong direction. I had no idea that his feet swiveled. They hit a grand slam with the Halloween 3 set and another one here.I love all the figures from the Halloween franchise we’ve gotten so far.There’s been several retro clothed only figures like Silent Night Deadly Night’s Ricky and Billy,Dr Decker, Reanimater, the The Fog, The Nun, Slumber Party, Night of the Demons, They Live, Candy Man off the top of my head. I see a lot of people saying they don’t like the retro figures but I love this line as much if not slightly more than the ultimate figures.

Both look really good, I'm surprised! Not interested in this set necessarily, but I'm really happy it's out there for folks.

I was looking forward for you to review these guys! These figures look great, and it’s cool to see the evolution of these figures compared to the previously released ones.

Both, Laurie Strode and Dr. Loomis have solid head sculpts. They are both nicely detailed and cleanly painted. Articulation is pretty good. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate it. Keep it up!

We definitely need an Ultimate Loomis, for sure. My idea for it is that it would be something akin the first Ultimate Chucky, where it would encompass Loomis's appearances in 1978, II, 4, and 5. His outfit is literally unchanged from film to film, so all you'd need to do is make extra heads and hands. Movie 1 and 2 accessories are very simple: gun-pose right hand and gun, sculpted lighter hand, static left hand. Movie 4 and 5 accessories would be: gloved gun-pose right hand and gun (he uses an updated 1911 Colt-style gun in 4 and 5), gloved cane-grip left hand and cane, gloved static left hand, burn-scarred dramatic-pose right hand with no glove, one pair of gloved hands posed for 2x4 plank and 2x4 plank, 'clean' burn-scarred alternate head, and 'bloody' burn-scarred alternate head (the end of Part 5). I think there's room and certainly enough demand for something like that, and I would love to see it. EDIT: I posted this immediately before Spot conveyed the same idea LOL. Didn't know he was going to go there, but it's very cool that he did.

Really glad to get a new Loomis figure from NECA. The older figure is too expensive now. Really like the details to this set I feel they are both great figures and this review makes me can't wait to get my hands on this set.

I like your theory on the Loomis hand. However I believe its obvious, in both films Loomis has a habit of holding his hand that way up to his mouth when he is thinking. Got this set last week and immediately had to make a HMH diorama. Hope you find Michael before he kills any kids lol.

Man, I hated shelling out the bucks for this set, but when I saw those head sculpts I was all in! I think that Dr. Loomis head sculpt ranks with the Ultimate Doc Brown one as among the very best I've seen from NECA. As always, GREAT review! My set is supposed to arrive today or tomorrow, so after watching this I'm especially psyched. I just hope I have as good of luck as you did with the paint on the faces! Either way, my retro cloth Michael Myers is in for a battle. :-)

I love this set. Been waiting for this for ssooooooo long. Just wish they could've gave Laurie the same ankles as Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis. The hinge is so horrible and are guaranteed to get loose. So loose she will eventually not be able to stand. My nun, and ghostface, as well as my son's freddy krueger from part 2 have to be propped up now cause their ankles are completely loose. But I absolutely, positively love this set. Now if the amazing team that are Neca will please give us the ultimates of these figures. And 1:4 scale as well. These are a no brainer sellout figures. All Hail the Mighty Neca!!!!!!! Great review.

Great, great figures! I've been saying that Neca needs to give us an ultimate h2 Dr. Loomis from the announcement of the h2 Myers. I'm staying optimistic and hoping that they will hear my pleas for what will be a guarantee seller from horror iconic figures. Great review, been waiting to see your review of these amazing figures. Come on Neca we need an ultimate h2 Dr. Loomis, a 1/4 scale h2 Myers and Loomis as well as a Laurie. Could you imagine a h2 cast in 1/4 scale along with ultimate and retro cloth, believe it would be a first. All Hail the Mighty Neca!!!!!!!!!!!

A Great set of figures to own

I haven’t seen these at any stores in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 yet myself. Not even at my local comic book store that gets everything NECA. So I don’t think they are actually widely available yet Spot. Too bad you couldn’t find your retro cloth Michael Myers. I think these guys with Micheal & also the Halloween 3 trick or treaters are all gonna look amazing displayed together. If I remember correctly and you guys can correct me in the comments I think Donald Pleasance almost turn down the role because at the time he didn’t know that John Carpenter ( The Master of Horror) would make a sequel to Halloween (1978) In loving memory of Donald Pleasance (1919-1995) You’ll always be remembered as the great Dr. Loomis but never forgotten

I hope NECA make an action figure of Loomis. I'd love an Ultimates version of him in 7 inch scale. I don't really like these 8 inch dolls. The proportions always look off to me. Cloth goods always look so fake too as being so small the material doesn't hang like real clothing so just looks kinda cheap.

She was wearing the outfit from Halloween '78 at the beginning of Halloween 2. It seems like the H2 license would cover that. Might have to have the rip in the shoulder of her shirt, but that outfit was in H2.

How does loomis and Laurie compare in height to the ultimate Halloween 2 neca Michael ? I would like to have them go against the ultimate Michael because I don’t have the cloth version yet

Wish this wasnt a retro cloth, it'll look weird next to my 7 inch Ultimate Michael, but the retro cloth Michael itself looks goofy with the baggy overalls and a $90 CAD price point is a bit much.

Just as a general rule I don't really like the Retro Cloth figures. I have OCD and the intentional disproportionality of them messes with me somewhat. That being said, I had to have this set regardless. It showed up in my local Target here a couple days ago and I walked it right up to the checkout without even glancing at the price. Good news is the disproportionality isn't nearly as bad with these figures as it is with all the others. Such a great set, though. I love it, and especially for finally having a Loomis in my collection and for that sweet sweet poster art Pumpkin.

They cut the brother-sister connection out because they were not related and that lame connection never should have been made in any of the other films.

I really just want the Loomis which makes this set a little overpriced for me. I just wish they could do a Michael for every film like they did with Jason..oh well. At least we're getting figures from 1 and 2.

I have to believe and have my Loomis posed with his left fisted hand clutching his stomach as when Michael stabs him in the gut after Loomis tries to shoot him as soon as Michael breaks down the operation room door. When Laurie shoots Michael in the eyes and Loomis starts to distract Michael by pulling the ether and oxygen hoses from the walls you can see Loomis holding his abdomen with his clutched left hand.

Loomis figure is too tall the actor was only 5ft 6
