I grabbed this after grabbing the T2 T-800 from my local Walmart (also, that figure is like 5 years old, and the local Walmart had a bunch of 'em. Weird). I grabbed this Dark Fate T-800 to basically be the dad to the T2 one.

I've had my T-800 preordered at gamestop for a few months now. hopefully it comes in soon. a bit disappointed at the lack of alternate battle damage pieces with this being the first neca terminator to not even have an alternate battle damage head sculpt. woulda been really cool to also have the exposed robot arm from the end of the film as a changeable part.

Agreed! I feel like it was a really good spiritual successor to T2. Side note: if you have the Neca Nathan Drake figure, it’s heads fit on this one, and it looks great.

People who hated it were too fixated on John Connor. But in the original two films, the protagonist is Sarah, not John. Also there were those who took issue with what they interpreted as social commentary.

does it look more like arnold in person? i wanna buy this one but based on this video, he doesnt look like him..im basing it on the "first glance", because if a figure does look like the actor at first glance, that totally means its a good sculpt..im forcing my brain to think it resembles arnolds face because i really wanna buy dark fate terminator..haha..the one with the sunglass looks like him, maybe the problem with the other head is the eyes part..

Jeff Cobain I promise it looks very much like Arnold in person, I had to go through a few of them to get the paint just right but, next to the Genysis “Pops” it is insanely better( I am very picky about it too.)

I feel bummed out that because of the box office flop of Dark Fate, (which is kinda silly), Neca isn't planning to release any more figures. *No Grace, no battle-damaged Carl, NO REV-7 OR REV-9!!! Keep in mind, this is the same for the failed Alien movies, Salvation and Genisys because Neca really seems they don't wanna waste their plastic..*

What scale is your scorpion in inches? Neca figures are classified in the 7 inch variety. Usually their Jason figures are a touch taller but that makes sense due to his size. The T1 Arnold I own scales nicely with my Jason collection.

@@bantabury I don't have any at the moment I have a storm collectibles street fighter 5 Ryu and I know neca Arnie's are usually about 7 inches or so but I've heard the Storm collectibles mortal Kombat figure don't scale w storm collectables street fighter so I'm wondering if they will scale with this Arnie. I like to recreate that Arnie for the mortal Kombat game since he has that look but not sure he'll scale with a scorpion storm collectables.

I don't think it's the fact the movie wasn't Marvel, it's based on how pissed off fans were that it began with - - - - SPOILERS - - - John Connor being gunned down, thus negating the point of The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (although in that one, the T-850 killed Connor itself). The point is, no matter how you spin it, the original movie no longer matters, and neither does the second. They wasted a good character for a cheap setup, and it left a bad taste in fan's mouths. Not to mention the trailers weren't all that good, in my opinion.

The glasses come off, and it’s the exact same head as the other one. I removed them to put them on one of my other T2 Schwarzenegger heads.

Nice looking Beretta accessory and sculpted with great detail. Nice grenade launcher and cool that the barrel spins. Really decent face sculpt with gruff greying facial hair and skin wrinkles and scar under the eye. The sunglasses head looks cool but a deformed exoskeleton face would have been a great addition. Very good detail on his brown trench coat and two tone shoes . Pretty good articulation considering the soft rubbery clothing blocking a little range of motion. A nice figure nonetheless. To me it's their worst Arnold likeness to date. My favorite terminator figure is still the part one first outfit release. Absolutely love that figure and is one of my favorite neca releases in general. Someone got me this figure because they know I collect neca, I use the weapons with other figures and plan to use the body for some custom, just don't know of who/what yet.maybe ill take the arms and jacket off and pop in the sleeveless arms from that game terminator figure.

Actually the film did better than most expected, critics said it was the best sequel since T2. Overall the figure is pretty good it doesnt scream terminator but that's exactly the point because the film did capture another side of what are used to and so does this collectible.

This is another awesome figure that's based on a horrible movie. Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness as the T-800 is very impressive. The scar under the right eye looks good. However, I would've appreciated a battle damaged second head sculpt that could've exposed the endoskeleton that's underneath the skin. The facial hair has been sculpted nicely. The wrinkles and folds in the clothing look great. The paint application is clean. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the hard work. Have a very Merry Christmas!
