I love how both Annie and Milio are fire users, but they are distinct- Annie's fire is violent, demonic, and destructive- a side of fire we always see, but fire is two-faced, fire also gives people warmth on cold nights, light in the dark, and it is a symbol of energy. They're both fire, but their flames are used differently.

Just a note. I notice you are pronouncing it “fuemingo” like flamingo. Considering how Ixtal is mostly based on mesoamerican cultures, and given the rest of the names presented on the letters it can be assumed it is supposed to be a Spanish pronunciation. So it’s not fuemingo like flamingo. It is the combination of the words fuego (fire) and amigo (friend) hence fuemigo.

His fuemigos seem to be a combination of the Spanish words fuego and amigo, so he literally just named them fire friends. It's small but it adds to his character. Necrit pronounces it almost as flamingo though, so it can be easy to miss.

Ok but how wholesome would a friendship between Milio and Nunu be?

the story sounds like a perfect set up for a riot forge game. Maybe this is also the reason why Qiyana was absent from the ruination (we didn't get the reason yet right?)

Honestly the soothing fire sounds like some kind of fusion between Elemental magic and Spiritual magic. Pretty cool.

Ixtal has quickly become one of my favorite regions. Qiyana was the first assassin I really liked playing. Milio seems like an amazingly fun enchanter. I love the focus on indigenous people. I love the culture and story and the small touches like fuemigo. I really wish league had did comics or novellas more often.

I think even Quiyana mentions not having learned Fire yet, it may be that very few people learn to master fire in Ixtal since its a jungle nation that relies on the plants to protect them from the harsh reality destroyed by the void.

Another awesome video! I would correct you though on one thing…Milio's little animated flames should be pronounced as "fway-MEE-gos". It's a sort of Spanish linguistic pun on the word for "fire" ("fuego" [pr.: "FWAY-go"]) and the word for "friend" ("amigo" [pr.: "ah-MEE-go"])-they are his "fire-friends"! Hopefully that helps someone!

13:00 If Riot continues Milio's story, then I suspect that the Ixthali will not let him tackle the Vidalion. After all, it seems like the people in Ixthal, or at least the leading ones, are not big fans of progress and new things and since he is the grandson of a imprisoned criminal, it would only make sense that they refuse to acknowlege him in any way.

I'm honestly happy about everything around Milio, it's a great champ, with great lore and music. But it burns me that we still don't know what Qiyana is doing.

Hey Necrit, just a suggestion, you might want to make each new story release of Millio's letter's into a youtube short since the material probably won't be enough for a whole video. And also it is quite probable that it might help with the algorithm.

if the origin of words are indeed spanish then his backpack is a diminutive of "furnace" and it is pronnounced as (fur nah see ta) also it is cute that his letters are basically pyrography the fact milio deviates from the normal teachings is likely to cause yun tal to be concern, if there is something traditionalist hate is someone using something in a way they dont intend, "fire for healing? preposterous!" it is very important to have fire that heals, since fire is as much life as it is destruction. also milio needs voicelines with all fire related champions or i riot, brand, annie, ornn

we got confirmation that Milio is based a lot in Colombia's folklore and Encanto as a film, he definitely has the vibe of being a madrigal.

Milio and Annie are more like the two sides of the same coin. Both flame users, one power born from trauma and only knew destruction while the other came from love and seeks to heal.

Quick Spanish lesson: the "tilde" on the é on Luné y Lupé means that the accent of the word is on that vocal. So instead of being pronounced / LU \ ne, it should be pronounced _ Lu / NÉ and _ Lu / PÉ. *to explain* / means rising accent, \ means a falling accent and _ means a flat accent. Also I'm a native Spanish speaker not a Spanish teacher so I don't really know the proper terms in English.

The only thing I dont like about focus on lore is that milio probably wont have any ingame interactions with nunu despite them being pretty similar. It wouldnt make sense for them to have met yet in lore so probably wont have any interactions. I imagine in general it could be tough to add new interactions to nunu since his actor might age out of the role

Hopefully theres a story for him meeting rengar and potentially khazix I wonder if milios's family in the future will be added to legends of runeterra just like kayle and morganas mom(mihiria) maybe they'll be a boat! I have a theory on why was Qiyana busy during ruination. You mentioned that Milio's grand aunt Luné was plotting something against the Yun Tal and that's why she along with her sister were punished and forced to exile. When she vanished we hear nothing about her till it is mentioned that she's imprisoned during Milio's arrival in Ixaocan. Now, we could assume that she mysteriously vanished because the Yun Tal imprisoned her after quickly discovering her intentions and have been keeping her ever since...or during exile, she decided to cut the ties with Lupé in order to achieve her goal by founding a clan of elemental magic mercenaries and/or like Lupé, having a family of her own as well where she also teaches them the elemental magic, axioms and stuff like that. I like to imagine that she also has a grandchild who is talented like Lupé's Milio, but unlike him, their axiom is destructive and dangerous, so much so that the Yun Tal could consider it a threat not just to them, but the entire society of Ixtal. And that would be the reason why they would imprison Luné. Either to lure her grandchild into a trap where they would arrive in order to rescue their grandmother or to interrogate her and force her to reveal the residence of her grandchild. Just for the future Necrit, the tildes (Those accents at the end of Lupé and Luné) signify that is the part where you pronounce the accent, so those names are pronounce more like Lu-peeh! and Lu-neeh!, sort of... If you are still confused, search for the pronunciation in spanish for Papa and Papá or Mama and Mamá.

The are in fact pronounced "fwe-MEE-go," a portmanteau of the word "fuego," the Spanish word for fire, and "amigo," the Spanish word for friend. Milio literally named them his fire friends.
