I played this game on the Wii and pretty early in my childhood so I don’t remember it too well but I happened to think about it today and I decided to look up this video. Turns out the gen 1 mazdaspeed3 is in the game, and it’s one of the lower end cars so I probably played with it a lot. This is important to me because it was my first car around 2 years ago. And it was the same bright red color as in the game. And the entire time I owned it, I didn’t realize that I had likely already driven it as a kid on need for speed.

Carbon was such a good game, it had such an atmosphere that i could only sum up as ‘dark fantasy’ but with street racing, no other Need for Speed captures the tone of Carbon the same to me

Hey there. Not sure if you remember me from your past videos (you helped me with NFS2 on Windows 10, plus other things), but I've come here once again to ask you something. Do you have, or know where to get, a hacked PS2 savegame for the Collector's Edition with these cars in the career? It is possible through hex editing but I have no clue how. I already got one for MW, though some cars make the game freeze when colliding with something, that issue isn't present in Carbon. I'd be really glad if you could again help me. :)

Notice how there are 3 background musics (one for Muscle cars, one for Tunning cars and one for Exotics) and how whenever he showcases a different car (and if it is a different category) the music changes... yeah Carbon was the greatest even with these tiny details
