I haven’t played NFS since the 3D0 console and never really liked racing games. Played NFS Payback when it became free on PSN last month and now been playing Heat on Game Pass. Found out I actually like these games. Really liked Payback and Heat is also fun so far.

Get kids hooked on cars early and keep them away from the shooters until they have the mental and emotional wherewithal to handle the distinction between games and reality. That being said, hide your car keys. And for everyone complain that a 5 year old can’t play this game: he’s not always gonna be 5, and as he grows, there’s now a fully unlocked NFS game for him to play with - and a parent who loves the game as well. My dad and I played Pole Position on our Atari when I was 5 and it is STILL a fond memory.

@@Harxthim_ ya. You have option to play online or you can be anti social and play solo so you dont get randos smashing your car up lol. Most guys do massive corner cuts to beat you. You can tell when you race more serious players. They wont try to Tbone you but will tailgate you til you messup then overtake. When you see cops chasing someone, you usually go and help them (dont know why you do it but you just do) and you start smashing cop cars to help them escape cause they probably have a ton of Heat on them to get them high Rep. If they get arrested they lose it all lol.

My biggest gripe with this game is the drifting mechanic. All I want to do is release throttle to slow the car down a bit through the turn so I don't understeer, but as soon as I press the pedal back, the car oversteers into a drift. Whatever happened to using the handbrake to drift? It would be a much better racing experience if I can turn the sudden drifting off.

I agree Sunshade , i like the story the characters and the cars. It doesnt feel too enpty worlded the cops are always somewhere around you . I like the customizations and the realism of the sounds of engines and the detail that went into it . They really need to chuck frostbite away now lol but its really a better NFS that weve seen over the past few years

Mr. Hamza I'm pretty sure if Midnight Club is coming back in someday they will not make a realistic control physics because Midnight Club was not decided to be a realistic. If u want an realistic racing game go ahead and buy a Juiced 1 the driving is pretty realistic and when u damage ur car too much then u can get Nitrous leak, Turbo damage, Steering damage. And when u drift if u give too much gas then u'll spin out and if u don't give enough gas then u'll not drift.

R* doesn't want to make an Underground racing DLC for GTA, so maybe they still have Midnightclub in the back of their heads.

Honestly I've picked up Midnight Club LA and it still holds up. The over world is amazing with traffic and landmarks. The arcade racing is awesome and once you understand that driving well means no rubberbanding its liberating. its backwards compatible on the series S and X.. only 1080p.. but its 60fps and gets auto HDR.

Payback was pretty cool actually, had a pretty simple story, which could have been a bit more stronger, as the characters were just too simple and monotonous (especially Tyler). Good stuff, but yeah, I do partly agree that I wouldn't revisit the game after I would finish it

The story doesn't have to be exceptional as long as it's satisfying, I care more about gameplay and being able to turn the drift Assist on and off whenever you want is pretty excellent for me.

The mechanics in Gran Turismo 6 is the realistic one on driving and taking a corners at high speeds were you battle to correct your car on the way out. In order to make your car slide and handle a drift?... before we even talk about executing a drift as you approach a bend in Gran Turismo you can actually knock back a gear into high revs n preform a drift hitting around 60mph and if your good at holding RWD'S then goodluck on you... but if you ask me would I knock down NFS since the 2015 version heck no, as long as in this game the car reving and engine beauti sound are on point still wouldn't mind playing this online with my mates and just have a little laugh while the piggies are tryna catch you in your review mirrors

NFS Most Wanted is praised because it was released in 2004. Storyline is simply, driving is simple, life and we used to be simple as well back then. If NFS most wanted was released today it would fail terribly. Our quality standarts have drasticallly increased since we were kids
