i bought it two days ago... I was having alot of fun in gta5 escaping from the cops with 3+stars 5 is chaos 👌.... anyway, i did my research and rivals had the least negative comments of the current available xbox one nfs games... I'm starting to enjoy it... but i had to watch utoob videos to learn how to drive in nfs... it isn't like gta where you feel in sync with the cars... but it's getting fun-after about 100 crashes.... u start driving better 😂😂😂 i got the game for $19.99 so it's good for $20 bucks and under... i can tell this one (rivals) was the better of the 18 nfs games still available for xbox one consoles... cause heat, nfs 2015 and payback- from all the comments i read in the comment section say they were the worst...(yeah, i trust comments over reviews) and well it shows on the xbox store heat is currently $4.99 and was the last nfs game that came out.... must've been so bad for that price (or was it for payback or nfs 2015) meh ...😂😂😂

@@madlad453 I agree, you never can make up your mind through reviews, I've played highly rated games that I didnt like and poorly rated games which I loved, that's why I like to play the games myself and have my own opinion, everyone has different taste as well, someone might like stealth strategic games and someone might loath them. I've heard heat has good reviews actually, but one thing that I don't like about it, is that almost everything is destructible in collision

Rivals had the most deadliest cops than MW 2005, they had deadly pursuit tech and can drive hypercars💀

I still play it for the cops. Heat Level 10 cops are crazy, but I know most of their tricks. I even let the cops gather around to see if they form a rolling roadblock or box maneuver. Sure enough, if you give the cops a chance without bashing into them the moment they catch up, they actually try to preform these maneuvers. Granted, their teamwork isn't as good as Most Wanted cops, but it's really cool to see that Ghost did indeed try to implement the teamwork in the AI cops.

@@gamersault another neet fact about the cops, certain police vehicles have the same pursuit tech setup it's either ESF and SHRAM, or EMP and Spike Strip. The lower level police cars from Heat 1-3, don't even use equipment. Every AI police car from Heat 4-10, can call in roadblocks, but the helicopter won't get called in until Heat 5, taking a mechanic from Most Wanted '05 (except MW helicopter started at Heat 4). Not only that, it takes another note from MW with having specific vehicles spawn at certain Heat Levels.

@@si1v3rp5ych0 As racer, the initial Heat Level is the tier level. As police, the heat level of AI racers that spawn is the tier level. Lower heat level police cars do use equipment, it just that their cooldown is quite long. You can observe this by browsing the Pursuit Tech in Tier 1 cars; limited to low level pursuit tech. Helicopters only become marginally useful at Level 3, which means only Tier 3 and above can summon them. Which are more likely to spawn at higher heat levels (or if encountering a player cop).

Do you guys find Grand Tour hard? Here are some tips: 1.Save up for some pursuit tech and a fast car I bought a Pagani and it's so hard to tame, but as time passes by I mastered it. You need to use e-brake when curves are coming hahaha, sometimes you just hold brakes and you can drift smooth. 2.Use your pursuit tech wisely. Only use it when 10 police(exaggeration)cars are ramming you. 3.Use other racers as cover. Sometimes if you're lucky they will target other racers instead of you. This increases your chance of crossing the finishing line. 4.Memorize the map. 5.Have fast reflexes. 6.Always know what will the police do and the patterns 7.If you have a vehicle that has low control. Just use brakes and e-brake when a 180 degree road is infront of you. 8.Use your nitro for emergency getaway. 9.Never give up.

If survival is bigger priority than finishing first (the SpeedList only requires to complete it anyway), consider Tier 4 tanks such as the Ferrari F12.

I used a McLaren P1. Grand Tour is a little hard when I first played it. Due to the cops spawning in front of you, it almost looks like you are lacking of focus to win.

There's also the cop vs racer PVP. No other NFS could reproduce that so good yet. There are communities of very skilled players on all platforms and survive them is a true challenge. This is what keeps this game pretty active nowadays, despite being released two console generations ago.

I first started playing this game in january this year because I found it in my xbox 360 games list but I didn't played it because it wasnt interesting. But I started playing again in July and it was amazing. This game looks cool even on x360. If you play racer story you will need to focus alot because it's hard. Once you get used to it it will be easy af. Cop story is really easy and you can do everything without fear of losing. Overall this game is really cool. My favourite nfs game. Btw i just found about this channel and I love it. I also Subscribed.

IGN and Gamespot reviews always feel as if they were paid by the game dev or advertising for them. In comparison, this video is the best game review I have seen. Especially for a racer. I was introduced to the Need Gor Speed games when I was looking through my purchased library and picked up Need For Speed Payback. I finished it, loved it and then found Rivals. Coming off of Payback I wish there was more customization options, but everything else about Rivals I really enjoy. Obsessed now!

Besides, the SpeedList only requires to complete it. It doesn't require any medals. I think Stingray is the Tier 3 tank. F12 is the Tier 4 tank.

I do like using the First BMW you unlock. It handles so much differently than the other cars available to you early in game. It's acceleration and top speed are Meh at best before upgrading, but after upgrades, the car handles like a dream at high speeds

I have been playing this game for over 4 years and i just realized a few months ago that many people don't like Rivals. Im still confused why thats the case Yeah, the game does have some pretty major bugs, but they honestly aren't enough to make me not wanna play. The cop chases are difficult as hell, but thats what makes it even better for me. I dont like when things are too easy **cough 2015**. I love when like in Heat, the difficulty is hard enought to make you do your best to succeed, but not too hard where you get more frustration than fun out of it

I’ve been eyeballing this game since it came out and finally started it. I’ve never been into racing games very much besides Trials and Mario Kart if those count. All I’ve tried is The Crew 2 which sucked and Need for Speed reboot which was cheeks. Basically, this was the first racing game I’ve invested time and interest into and it lives up to the hype. 8/10

Even in earlier games such as Most Wanted 2005, Heat Level 5 will mean instant pursuit on signt, even if you are just parked and haven't prompt any 911 calls.

I had fun playing the game, completed both racer and cop graphics are some of the best graphics I’ve played with. Racer story sucks, was hard to play because you couldn’t even drive without a cop chasing you even just going 1 mph cop comes after you. But it’s what made the game challenging and fun

I just bought this and I love the Police gameplay, This and NFS Hot pursuit remastered are fun Police chase games. I like the open world in rivals, It's fun just to drive around patrolling for racers. The weather effects are fantastic, I also like being able to repair the police cars at gas stations. I think the controls are better in Hot pursuit though. The cars for the Racers could have been a little bit better in rivals, Either way both games are fun to be a police officer.

Also you can make your own playlist from a cd or pen drive wiht the ps3, no limit. Just go to menu on the map and disable the original lplaylist, then chose the music volume. Main reason I really like tis game.

6:40 stop your car as soon as you see a cop sign in the map before they see you. and don't move till they pass you. They only chase you if you're driving the car.

this game still has full multiplayer lobbies and i treat it more like full on PVP game its alot of fun only downsides i can find is a map desync that can happen sometimes the host migration is a but anoying and once everywhile when u battle a another player who spams repair shops is abit anoying but other then that i give the game a 8/10

This is the best Racing Game I've ever played the driving and the mechanics is super crazy! And the game offers a realistic experience and once you master it escaping cop is super frigging easy!!!

You had to stay online while playing it just this one thing i didn't like about it when it came out otherwise it's one of my favorites in the series, i mean leaves flying by you, crazy thunderstorms, amazing environments and over the top aggressive gameplay, it was really fun to play! ⚡

Ive beat the game but Its hard to get player cops to chase you when Im in a Mclaren P1 and they are in Koenigseggs and Buggati's which are faster, and still crash.

Man the memeries i havs with this game i will never forget the first time i ever started playing nfs rivals in 2019 it was like the best day of my life i lost my game tho and i keep breaking my xbox one controller...dang it

One tactic I use against the cops spike strips is use a shockwave to push the spikes in any direction and blow the tyres of the cops and also I don't like to use the nitro just to add more fun and difficulty to the game because definitly I love this game
