there’s actually been multiple instances where i’ve raged at this microwave beeping, having to fight the urge to pull it from the wall and over my 4 story balcony. it never, fucking, stops. whoever designed it this way... well i actually don’t believe it was a person, but satan rather. this is probably the most valuable video i’ve ever seen on youtube. thank you so fucking much. i can finally be at peace in my home.

I built up a genuine hatred for the damn machine. I'd yell at it from across the room. "Ok, ok MFer, I'm coming". Why Fridgedair felt they had to insist you remove your food right away was puzzling. But to decide 3 loooooooooong ear piercing beeps, repeated every 2 minutes, was insanity causing.

Thank you. This was so easy. Before I saw your video, I visited the Frigidaire site with my model number and chatted with a rep. He said there was no way to change the volume or turn off the beeping. I am embarrassed for the company that their support staff has no idea about their own products.

Omg you saved a large portion of my sanity. The most Ann thing about it the beeping is repeats every 30 seconds and never stops until I open the door.

I had literally gotten to the point where I just waited by the microwave so I could open the door with 1 second left. That was the only way to retain my sanity.

I was debating taking a baseball bat to my microwave this week after my Frigidaire Professional Series microwave not only makes a long beep....but it will beep for literally hours every 2 minutes if someone left something in there that's finished and they haven't either opened the door or pressed clear. For my model I went to "User Pref" button, then it lists out options for pressing 1-5 buttons and I think it was 3, and it not only turned off the God awful beeping but also turned off the beeping noise when you press a button. Is it weird that I kinda liked the sound of the button pressing, but hate the beeping after something is finished? Oh well, either way just wanted to say you sir are a gentleman and a scholar. My sanity has been regained!

We just moved into a new apartment a month ago that has this microwave. I have severe PTSD and get triggered by annoying sounds. It's actually made me become violent towards cooking utensils and food. Thank you so much for saving my kitchen from complete annihilation. I'll be sure to reset the settings to high for the next tenants to "enjoy" after I move out.

thanks a million I was getting ready to rip out the beeper from the motherboard (because the beeping sound on these micros is definitely a mother) but decided to look for one more you and thank goodness I found yours, Works perfect can't believe it was that easy.
