I thought about dedicating this to a future husband but even about him I couldn't ever say "you're oxygen to my lungs". Jesus's love is the only thing I've ever been sure but I wanna be sure of the man I wanna spend my life with. Jesus's love will guide me a good man. So, I think at least we two can dance to it and confess this love.

Somehow this band keeps getting better with age. This is mature, subtle, beautiful; it’s a masterpiece. It might not get the love and views that some of their other songs do (even by me), but I do believe it’s their best work yet. Wow.

Here people are saying that HARDLOVE is dissapointing because of the "lack of Christianity"... I am a Christian and I have heard the message of God's character and love through EVERY SONG that they have released on HARDLOVE. Not dissapoointed one bit. NEEDTOBREATHE are so talented and they are getting better. I feel that their songs are perhaps even becoming more meanigful and spiritual than what they have made before! HARDLOVE, (even the name of the album itself!) is clearly an album with a purpose and the songs are tackling things that every non-christian AND christian should be thinking about. I'm proud of this band so much :D

How do you even leave a comment that does this justice...? As I face what may be yet another horrific brain surgery this song, among their many others, reminds me of the amazing love my husband and I have, that he has for me and that no matter the fight ahead again...I won't let him down.

I met my true love at 51, 3 weeks ago. Until then I was single my whole life. And then Saturday night he suffered a stroke and had to be admitted to a state hospital. Your music has been keeping me going. I drive +- 50 kilometers every day from work to the hospital to visit him and listen to your music in the car. I wish more Christian groups did romantic music. You know you're not going to hear anything vulgar and they're singing about something real. When the love of a man and woman have the love of God in the midst of their love, it's real. A lot of secular artist often betray vulgarity and unrealism as love.

Going to be seeing this band open for OneRepublic tonight and was surprised to learn that they are a Christian band from my friend who's going with me and is a Christian. I'm god-free and was thinking, "oh boy, I have to sit through a bunch of songs with Him and His and God this and that" But these guys are so good, I won't mind at all.

My husband and I are like day and night but he is my best friend. I truly believe this band is writing songs and performing them now for a lot of reasons. The Lord Jesus kept them together for His glory and for us a part of His Kingdom.

I absolutely love these guys! The song brother's hit home so very hard for me with my older sisters! I had dropped the keys so far that my hands could not reach them and with out their love i would have been lost, caged in my own darkness. But they helped me to see the light again. I used to play this album and this song when i was giving my boy a bath when he was 3 years old. Every time i hear it, I am hunched over the tub washing my little boy's feet.

I wanted to share my experience. A few weeks ago I was having an extreme moment of road rage on the highway. I happened to be listening to K-Love and the DJ started speaking of God's love for us and she told a story of a mother and daughter on a plane making an emergency landing and the mother explaining to her daughter about God's love, then Hard Love played on the radio, I broke down in tears. Besides my father passing last year I haven't cried like that in 20 years or more. I was overcome with a sense of peace. The only way I can explain it is it was like God reached into my heart and took away all of the hate, jealousy, fear, anger and replaced it with hard love. The feeling i experienced was truly undescribable, like God's love for us. God bless, and Merry Christmas.

My first boyfriend made me playlists of songs when we were dating, and this was by far my favorite song out of them all. He broke things off, which was ultimately good because we were toxic for each other, but at the time, I was heartbroken. I cut off every beautiful song he introduced me to, even this one, because they reminded me too much of everything we had. This weekend, one of my best friends introduced me to her boyfriend, and seeing them so happy together filled me with such an overwhelming joy; all I could think of was this song. After a year, I can finally come back to this song... I’m still crying, but out of joy because I know it applies to two of my favorite people in the world and I’m so incredibly lucky to see them be so in love with each other.

Even if we don't hear the word 'God' in a song we can hear words that come from a christian way of thinking and a Biblical perspective. I personally prefer to hear the name of Jesus as often as possible; still, I listen to great songs, faith inspiring that were clearly caring a christian message without using specific names : God, Jesus or Holy Spirit. Some song are heartfelt messages for our daily life; if God is in our lives all the time we can use everything we hear and read to bring us closer to Him; we will filter all things through His way of looking at things if we know His will.
