Sometimes, the spirit (ghost) is waiting for the boyfriend or girlfriend or family to be reborn with them. But I do not think they would know that the mother's wound could only conceive one baby at a time. In some odd cases, you would see Hmong women having twins, but not very often. So, there is no reason to wait for the whole family to be reunited and reborned. It will take a long time. In the place of the dead (the site), it is cold and has no food. Sometimes, the reborn process takes time because people are in line. They are waiting on the other side to be reborned.
