But Britishers usually follow the 'Ryoti Cultivation', beacuse 'Nij Cultivation' requires a lot of Initial investment in terms of land, bullocks, plough etc. After regular exploitative Policy by Britishers, Indians started the "Indigo Rebellion-1859". The reason is that the farming of " neel " is ultimately not good for soil ......soil will be useless in sometime .🙏
