I think the Nibbler is a cool knife and offering from GM (size aside) because it's essentially a budget Reate. I can't think of one other knife under $200-$225 that's offered by Reate's own line or by Reate's OEM work for other brands; and the Nibbler comes in at less than half the price. However, it is very small, so I understand the discrepancy with it as a daily carry. Cool video thanks for the video bro💪

I only have a few GMs: GMF1-F, Ace Tribeca & GMX. Tribeca probably gets the most pocket time, doesn't hurt that it can swap to be lefty-friendly.

Have ‘em all and agree on Jutland/Reo. However, I have to put the Tribeca (Magnacut) right up there with the other two. (Wasn’t in your group.)

Giantmouse has some great models and the ones this year seem to be getting better and better. The micarta is done very well and the Reate made ones are well Reate quality top notch as usual. Not a fan of trailing points also as they dont fit my usage very well but are great at certain things like skinning. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I have NO Giant Mouse knives! What the heck is wrong with me?! I have to remedy that. Love the Atelier profile and blade shape, but the access to the lockbar would annoy me. I can appreciate a little chunker (even though their fidget factor isn’t always the best), so I definitely like that Nibbler. But I love that Jutland … I’m a sucker for a trailing clippy even though they’re not great for all tasks. Great stuff as always J-Rad!

My only GMs are the Corta and the Jutland and you really validated my purchases haha

never noticed the access on the grand just ordered a second, haven't used it with gloves but always loved the blade shape and the elmax and the edge has been great probably my nicest user

I’m with ya on the Jutland 1000%. Next the Grand modded. Just a tad. And I have a couple of Clyde’s. Sara’s and me Blue Micarta from Knafsale BNIB for 125$. At that price I had to 3rd it. Great Vid Brah. Funny how some touch a place.

I love my Sonoma, have a Tribeca on the way and planning on a Reo in the near future.

I got only one Giant Mouse, a slipjoint, the Ace Farley in micarta and Elmax steel. It is tiny, almost a 3 fingers grip, but i love it, bestech do a really good job manufacturing it. I have only one complaint : the single sided nail nick. It sucks for a knife that have a lefty clip position. V1 in M390 seems to have two nail nick, mine seems to be a V2. I've put the Reo on my to buy list, hoping they wil heat treat the magnacut a little harder in the future.

Jutland, by quite bit. That design with that build quality and that Elmax blade makes it a PM2 killer, at least for me...

I own gmf1 , two nibblers micarta and ssu version with g10 handles, and now the new riv with liner lock. I carry one of the nibblers everyday as my main knife it does everything i need a knife to do 95% of the time. I find for what and how i use a knife the blade shape is the best of any knife i own can carry it anywhere im legally allowed to for work without getting looks. Genuinely just works better than any knife ive ever owned.

The tip of the thumbnail works great on the Grand, the jimping stands proud of the scales. The carbon fiber version has milled lines I didn't want to mess with.

File down the sharp parts of the scales on the Ace Grand like on the top of the scales at the blade where your thumb goes and where your index finger would go on a finger choil and it becomes a really nice knife to hold.

Jared, saw your best American made video but couldn't comment. Loved and agreed with it. Have neen trying to get my hands on a mordax, but cant find one anywhere. If you are able to locate one, i would truly appreciate passing that along brother. Love your content. Peace

I like the Jutland a lot, and my Reo, Tribeca, and Grand. My top 4. But, I don't have issues with locker access on my Grand. Have you tried the Tribeca?

What are your thoughts the Riv!?!? And the new Tribeca, in Magnacut and blue Denim Micarta?? The Riv is Reate made, and it is by far my personal favorite, follow second by the Tribeca.

Only GM I have is the Sonoma frame lock. It is nice. I like the style, but I can't afford the GM price. I have the CRKT Pilar 3 and 4, just coz I love the design. The Pilar 4 blade looks like it has been ripped off the Jutland. Also want to buy the Voxnaes designed Viper Vale. These guys make nice knives.

Yes I really like the reo , of all the knives seen , I would buy , but I still haven't ventured past 165$ For the Hogue Deca

Neeves, I have $100 to spend and I have narrowed it down to the Kizer Mad Tanto, and the Large Pyrite in Green Micarta. I can't make a decision 😂 I love how the Kizer looks and I would like a flipper, but the Pyrite seems to be everyone's favorite choice, and I like bigger knives. Other recommendations would be appreciated aswell

Biblio, Nazca, Tribeca? Just on aesthetics alone, the Nazca has to be in the top three for me. But I think if you had a Tribeca on that table it would have to be close to, if not #1.

I have zero issues with mine. I just use my thumb pad 🤷🏼

Magnacut at 61-62 isn’t worth it compared with m390, Elmax, or S35VN. I love the Reo design-wise and in hand, but it let me down in cardboard destruction.

Ahh the joys of Giant Mouse only for the little things they just blanked out on (lock access) which is a shame and annoying but such is the truth of the matter. All that being said I get on with my Biblio as it doesn’t suffer from that problem and my other the Nimbus V2 has also got good access but does have a bit of a strong detent, so if you got soft thumbs you’ll find that slow rolling is the only way you will get that bitch open,luckily my thumb is still in good condition so I can flip it open. Im a GM hater based on the actions of the brand through its introduction. Im happy that they started to use Reate to give their customers actually good products for the money they are charging. Sadly thats not the only manufacturer they are using. Also the choice to goto elmax was better too since most other manufactures lack the capability to do 20cv/m390 correctly. 62 and below magnacut is fine for a lower price but not worth it for folders regardless.
