Neewer Triangle Wall Mount Boom Arm

Unboxing and installing the Neewer Triangle Boom Arm for the studio. This product allows lights and cameras to mount on the wall securely with the adjustable boom arm. This arm has a max reach of 4 feet and can adjust in 180 degrees both up and down as well as side to side. The threaded end can be swapped between 1/4" and 3/8" threads to fit your camera gear needs.

He is not telling that this Boom can not hold heavy loads and the fittings are made of plastic. Bull shit review. How much this boom arm can hold at full extension? Answer the question.

Dude... It holds my studio light panels and a Canon G7X miii. Thats all I have tested with.

Thank you! I have 3 more videos filmed. I have been working out the lighting. Almost all my videos are walking around outside (as you know) so studio lights are a fun challenge.

This is incredibly helpful, thanks! But I was wondering, was there anything you had to do to get the base of the mount to move side to side? Mine doesn't want to budge.

Thats odd. I have 4 of them and no issues. Once they are on the wall they move much easier.

@@ToolsTechAndGear after a lot of pushing and pulling I got it to move. I think it was just a combination of it being stiff and me not being very strong.

I suppose that means it will hold up well being stiff right out of the box. I have used mine in the studio a few days a week for a year and it is doing well.

It doesn't look like you ever got it to turn a full 180 left to right. It seemed to stop short. Will this fold flush against the wall?

It has some resistance to side to side but no lock.

Does anyone make a smaller version of the Wall Mounting Boom Arm with Triangle Base or something comparable, but small?

There are a few of these arms that connect directly to the wall. made to hold much smaller things but they don't have the triangle. It's very possible that product is out there I just haven't seen one.

It can as long as you find the rafters/trusses. It does not have a lock for side to side movement. If you are mostly going for straight down shots it will be good.

I use a lightweight G7X camera. And it does remarkably well. All the other videos on this channel are filmed from this boom arm. All the angles you see are adjusted with this boom.

It can. The weight seems to hold up my canon m50 like its nothing.

Seth you need to give the measurements of the hole mounting spread. Need to be more detailed, what's the weight of the unit...details, details, details...
