Hi Ersida! Thank you for your comment. Yes the Neff vented hobs work great for island extraction. Most overhead extractors work on a cubic measurement per hour which can in some Cases mean smells, fats and other bi products of our cooking go into the room and inevitably on our clothes and skin. The NEFF vented hob does not have the luxury of the hot air rising, it works on a rough calculation of hot air (steam) rising at 1.2 metres per second, and the extractor pulls at roughly 4 metres per second which means all of this is captured at source to around 95% clean air. There is then both grease and carbon filters. Our showroom extractor which is cooked in regularly is recirculated with no damage on our units after around 4 years. They are both venting hobs, the model you have mentioned is very similar although has a few less features, the hob in the video is a full flex induction job whilst the one you mention is a combi zone - you can look at the difference is specification on this link; www.neff-home.com/uk/productlist/hobs/vented-cooktops I hope this helps! Hi Haz! Yes very similar in terms of the extraction. The t48td7bn2 Model does not have the flex induction feature which allows your cook using an entire side of the hob for larger pans or things like the griddle pan used in this video.
