I love how Emma is performing each phrase as if she’s teaching a drama class. It really helps us to learn how to use these phrases. I’ve been a learner of english for 30 odd years with English being my first language in singapore. I’ve never known the subtleties and nuances of such expressions until this video. Great work, Emma! Love your English classes.

Wow. A beautiful lesson and a requirement as well as many a times we are not able to show that we r angry. However these experiences are good to use. Homework: Today dad brought a new laptop for me. I was very excited to use it but the condition was that I have to share it with my brother. I said ,' Really 😒'. It annoyed me and the teasing expressions of my brother annoyed me more. I said "I m not happy with your expeessons so just stop it". But he continued " I m fed up with your attitude." Next day when dad was out I asked him for laptop for my online classes but at that time he didn't give me and after sometimes he gave but I was messes with it and said " forget it,I used my phone . I have had it with it. You keep it with yourself and stop irritating me." This sibling talk will never end. He teases me a lot and I always get frustrated. But I think it's between all. And sibling relation is just blessing. Thank u for your lesson.

My dream is to become a primary English teacher and your material is being such a good help for improving my English skills and becoming more natural. Honestly, I am not impressed by one friend of mine because he is very obnoxious, he thinks he is the strongest boy in the whole planet and he is strong but it feels to me that is disrespectful because he looks down on other people and it's a bit disgusting, but there's nothing I can do, he is happy treating people that way. As I am too used to your cheerful expressions on each video, seeing your negative emotions and unimpressed faces here, even if I know that they are fake ones, makes me smile, imagining you in such mood in a real life, lol.

This lesson seems to be an English lesson of less importance but when someone is more attentive, he realizes the importance of these small nuances including voice tone and facial expressions. I love your lessons because you are teaching English for every day conversation to every day people.

Thanks, Emma! I can't be frustrated after watching you, but I will think of a paragraph and write it using these expressions. I was fed up with my friend after he had wasted my money. I told him that I had had enough because that wasn't the first time for him to do so.
