Conventional filmmakers would construct their action scenes with a flurry of quick cuts, sped up footage and exaggerated sound effects. Breen goes against the grain and films it in a static shot at a distance which gives it a completely different feeling. Truly a master of the cinematic language of cinema.

the only thing I will say in his defence is that the majority of this was likely shot during the worst parts of the pandemic/while the shutdowns and gathering recommendations were in place so it had to be heavily green-screened and the majority of the actors couldn't be close to each other

I’ve seen massive armies battle against each other, a man fight a titan, a villain throw an entire moon at heroes. But nothing, and I mean NOTHING compares to this fight scene. I just seen the clip on KZfaq and I automatically knew this is action scene of the year for me. Maybe even the decade. Maybe even the century. Maybe even the eternity.

Neil Breen is a Movie God - he´s got the genius and perfection of Kubrick, the deep emotional looks into his characters , usually only found in Ingmar Bergman movies and the visual poetry of Andrei Tarkowski. Cade - The Tortured Crossing is a genre bending masterpiece. Thx from austria Neil !

This scene makes sense after watching the movie, the tiger is a dead warior who cade trained and this is their way of training The patients at the hospital were also trained by cade to become wariors and they have their own traning sequence The girl patient shows up at the last fight with wings who simbolise that she is now free The tiger is another one of these symbolic elements Its a weird visual but its mostly becuse of bad filmaking and efects
