Eventually, after listening to these songs enough, the samples stop being samples. They start to bleed together until they're indistinguishable from each other and you start to forget the original songs. I finally figured it out. Music is like alchemy. The sound of the vocals and sound of the instrumental combined make a band. Mixing two different bands results in a different sound. This sounds like a New Radicals song, for example, and Mullet with Vampire Wings sounds like a Billy Idol song. Neil has mastered the theoretical "lead to gold" of this alchemy and has created much more valuable things besides.

How is this not titled RollerCloser?
@Skyewars10 жыл бұрын
Cuz, if you check the website, this is actually the second song, not the last.

Skyewars I was referring to the fact that it's a mash-up of the songs "Love Rollercoaster" and "Closer," not its placement on the album. In any case, I found out it actually is titled "Rollercloser" when I downloaded the album.

One thing I will never get tired of when it comes to Neil’s music is just finding out little things that make you think “Huh! Maybe that’s why these two songs are paired!” Like, of course there’s the infamous rumor of the woman being murdered during the recording of Love Rollercoaster, that alone has a certain Downward Spiral je ne sais quoi, but also Funny enough, the album that Love Rollercoaster comes from is named Honey! I wonder if Neil thinks about these kinda things, it wouldn’t surprise me LMAO

50% of the time i think that Closer is gonna just say "I wanna *BOING* you like an animal" and the other 50% is "funk you"
