Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

I'm a gay liberal, as far as left brain intellectuals, I don't like the snarkiness and arrogance of putting others down for their beliefs. We need understanding and compassion. As far as a higher power, there are too many magnificent, mathematically consistent patterns and structures in the design of the earth, the body, the cosmos and the universe for there not to be some higher intelligence. This universe is too phenomenal with all of the organic systems which all work together for it to all be some fluke. I think to find the earth to be some random accident is irrational. Science is ever changing and also limited in what it can explain and the human mind is limited. We've become somewhat arrogant, both religious people and scientists! There's proven, disproven and unproven. No theological matters have been disproven.Everyone must seek out a balanced view!

But Neil, the magic of childhood is being told things such as the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and Jesus exist, so they can experience that utter disappointment of realizing they have been systematically lied to by their parents.
@lancewedor5306
@lancewedor5306 7 жыл бұрын
Yes, Honey, agreed; there is NO magic. There may be mystery, surprise, astonishment, curiosity and plenty of bewilderment, but NEVER magic. Like there are NO souls, spirits of any sort. Not part of the Cosmological Constant. As to utter disappointment, NONE are free from lying: you do it, I do it, far more than we might hope. Insight into one's own behavior ought ameliorate the utter-ness of the disappointment. I mean, as some fictional officer almost explicated, we can't handle the truth!

"THIS IS HOW ADULTS SHOULD BEHAVE!" I love this cause adults always complain about 'think of the children' to avoid their own insecurities and belittle a child's intelligence instead of letting them figure out what is good or bad themselves. Parents are too afraid to have a conversation with their children and would rather shut their eyes and ears to anything *they* might think is bad but the kids don't know that until you tell them (or by observing you) that it is bad.

WITH EVERY SINGLE INTERVIEW, SPEECH, OR CONVERSATION WITH THIS MAN I LOVE HIM MORE AND MORE. I wish more people were like him. And I'm not only saying, I wish everyone was a genius Astrophysicist, but, if anyone is familiar with Louis CK.. and his show Louie. He is one who also didn't think to raise his daughters with the same norms as most people. I think he has similar philosophies as Mr. Tyson. One thing I remember was how one of his daughters had candy (or something) and the other daughter was screaming that it wasn't fair. And he told her sometimes life isn't fair. She has candy. And you don't. That's just how it is. And it seem harsh, even to me, but the idea is to not coddle and over protect, spoil, or give them this sense of entitlement and imminent security. Anyways, hopefully this makes sense to someone. I'm just saying, just because every parent we know raises their kids all these same ways, it doesn't make it THE way. Definitely not the the BEST way either.
