Opposites DO ATTRACT! My Dad was an extrovert and Mom an introvert! Dad could talk to anyone and was not afraid to walk up a person and start a conversation. Mom never did that but after a few minutes she grew more accustomed and at ease, she would communicate better.

The shelled egg as we know it came from Amniota which is a Carboniferous period clade, it is the last ancestral clade we mammals and birds share, before the Synapsida/Sauropsida split. And Amniota is after Tetrapoda, our ancestral clade that came onto land. --Tetrapoda (late Devonian) --Reptiliomorpha (amphibians split off here, before amniotic eggs develop) --Amniota (Carboniferous) --Sauropsida (dinosaurs/birds/snakes/crocodile)/Synapsida (mammalia only extant clade) A more interesting question is what came first, the placenta or the egg? Placental mammals (Placentalia) changed from dropping the egg and just developed the egg within them. I HIGHLY suggest Aron Ra's 50 part series 'Systematic Classification of Life'

You're making a simple question overly complicated. "Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Chicken is singular, and there are two chickens. Hen and the rooster. The question, because it's singular, implies the hen and the egg. However, the answer is that the rooster came first. Plus, a chicken has no idea what a road is. About the Pinocchio one, he is simply preparing you for how big his nose will get in the future. Or #2... He might recognize what kind of thing he prefers to say or do and some fibs he might tell later on. If he knows what is to come about in a particular situation, then he might know he's going to fib and prepare who's with him that his nose is about to grow, therefore NOT GROWING WHEN DECLARED in that conversation. That's a very specific scenario

Daisy! Congrats on the interview, you did great! Regarding the Pinocchio hypothetical however, I must (very quietly) push back against Dr. Tyson. Pinocchio could utter that phrase if he were to do so shortly before telling a lie. In fact, it could be days or months later if his use of the subjective "about" was intended to mean that amount of time. Even if we remove the "about" in the hypothetical and have him say "my nose will grow in X minutes", that too would be possible, however it would then force him to tell a lie at that exact moment in time to avoid creating a paradox. What this means then, is Pinocchio is omniscient with regard as to when in time he will lie.

Actually, after looking at it again, I think it's a little more nuanced and weird lol.....he's not necessarily imbued with any sort of clairvoyance but rather has a built in detector that he can use to make statements that he can then use to ask increasingly narrower questions to come to a conclusion about a future event, whether that be about him or not. Ergo, Pinocchio can predict ANY future event given enough probing of the topic.

17:45 There is a similar class of sentences collected in a small German book called Gallettiana. Johann Georg August Galletti was a German historian, geographer and teacher at the turn of the 18th to the 19th century. With his students, he was famous for stumbling over his own sentences, uttering sometimes completely nonsense like "Alexander the Great was born very young." or "The Afghans are a very mountainous people."

When I a child I lived in the fourth floor and used to trough "gaivotas" paper planes (origami) from my window, so they would land far away, I used to tip up the wings to help it from bent. Long before NASA did in the mid 60s! hahahah By the way lots of birds do it.
