I watched a movie called the jazz singer. It was about Neil Diamond and he played as him self. This song especially made me cry. He is a wonderful artist and actor. A must see movie. Love you Neil Diamond.

My mom died November 10, 2014. On November 10, 2015, I went to a grocery store and was flipping stations in my car. As I was parking, this song came on and I cried. I knew it was a sign from my mom since she was a huge Neil Diamond fan.

I lost my grandma very suddenly today. Personally I had never really liked Neil Diamond before but he was one of her favorites. When I listen to this song now I feel as if she's speaking to me, and I can't wait to say hello again to her one day. If you're coping with a loss, hopefully you can find comfort in the same thought.

As we all know, Mr. Diamond started out professionally in Tin Pan Alley, NY NY. Way Back in 1965 or so, His writing room was right up the hall from Carol King, who was banging out classics like 'Its Too Late' 'Locomotion' and 'You've got a Friend'. Young, lean and hungry. Good Times. You've added so much to my life.Thank You,, Neil.

great classic power ballard,so heartfelt from neil diamond, this song holds some great memories for me,reminds me of my loving grandparents when we used to play the jazz singer movie, and the classic soundtrack of neil diamond, sadly my grandparents died of cancer when i was young, but i don't forget the times we played this, and a song i would love to cover, cause i used to sing neil diamond songs to my nan when she was alive,i loved that still sad thinking that i wish she was still here,i want to make it as a singer,i hope i do and i know she would be proud of me no matter what i do.

Some time ago, someone from Grimsby chose this as one of their 'Golden Oldies' on Steve Wright's afternoon show on BBC Radio 2. I had the stereo on and it sounded staggering. If millions of others were tuned in at the same time I wonder what they thought. I just think it is one of the best tunes anyone has chosen for that radio slot.

A beautiful song that prompts all of us to think of our own life and the mistakes we made and the "I Wish" that we would most like to be granted. You have your opportunities and you make your mistakes. You live with them but you never cease to think of what might have been. Next time will not come. Tomorrow will not bring what you want most. Live with your errors. Learn. Accept.

Bob, I would have to pull my cab to the side of the street when this song came on (WDUV Tamba Bay) the oldies station. You need those evocative songs when you are going through it. I hope this gives you hope-- my wife tossed me out 3 times. She didn't even want me in the STATE with her, that's how distant I'd become. But eventually she came for a 2 day visit during the last separation. Sure, we'd both had our lovers, but somehow we KNEW that if you KNOW (you knew from the beginning, am I right, both of you) that you're SUPPOSED to BE... NOTHING will keep you apart...thanks for sharing your heart with us.
