A humble man from working class roots, he worked for a TV rental firm in the week, but on the weekends he was transformed into Rugby Union's greatest ever kicker. He bowed out of international rugby in 2003 as Wales' most capped player, and all time to points scorer with 1049. Nice one Neil.

Neil is the best, most talented, and most skilled penalty kick scorer. He rarely failed once, but never twice in a game. Fabulous. I'm French and he was the cause of a lot of frustration for me and the French fans but I like him anyways.

He is also a very humble man, something not easily found these days. I remember a famous game against England a few years ago when we won (Wales) and Jenks was interviewed, briefly and cut the thing very short as he had to get back to his Gran who was ill. A real gentleman.

Met him in Tenerife years ago in the Sun market. We had a little chat till the women caught up!!. My youngest daughter was his hotel rep & had tipped us off .Lovely boy

i love this man i had the privlage to learn from this man as playing as a back in schools rugby he tought us how to kick on the run but one thing i love is when he kicks a ball he turns away cos he know he got that shit what a legend

While being the best fly half in rugby he was going around South Wales working for just rentals knocking on people's doors. Imagine that now.... You're in the stands watching his absolute class on the Saturday and he's at your front door on the Monday in his day job.

A legend who played in the worse era of welsh rugby, always said people would realise what a great player til he was finished. A total welsh legend

not just a kicker, but a great outside half who had his own style of play. He was the difference between Wales winning and losing, imagine him in today's team, a guaranteed 15 points everytime!

ownage. best kicker ever! i met him at edburgh airport after the scotland match this year. he's easy to mistake with martyn william, only 2 feet smaller!

Imagine if he was playing in an AllBlacks team , great player but sadly he played with bad pack most times for Wales in the doldrums years yet a Brilliant player up there with the best .
