I’ve never seen a single person with the ability to walk out with just an acoustic guitar and harmonica and captivate an audience like Neil Young. I do feel truly blessed I got to see him and Crazy Horse.

@kaidenbunnell5922 Thank you, I feel blessed indeed that I saw him and many other amazing bands in their prime. I do sincerely hope you get to see him before he quits touring. The next best thing to seeing him live is getting a dvd of the Rust Never Sleeps concert and cranking it up. The first half is acoustically incredible and the second half is with Crazy Horse and it’s pure fire. Cheers!

I had a friend a long time ago named robert christensen....he was killed trying to outrun a train off a trestle over a freeway..We watched in horror as he was hit and slammed into the support wall beside the freeway. I did not know it was him until I heard it in the news later. He was my friend and I saw him die. We pulled over and there was already a nurse and doctor that just happened to be there too. The doc laid his shirt over his face and upper body as it was smashed pretty flat. Didn't recognize him at all. He used to play the guitar and harmonica and played Neil songs all the time...It has been a long time since that happened...Been a lot more living and heartache and life's ass kicking, but I am still here and many others aren't. First time I saw Neil was at a Led Zeppelin Concert in 1970...They were running late and He came out to play until they got there...He was shitfaced drunk and could not and should not have been on stage but he tried and was booed off stage....The MC came out and told everyone who it was ...we couldn't tell because he was falling down drunk....Said it was Neil Young and he was never coming back ....Came back 3 years later with The Stray Gators...

Hi Marichu...I saw him in the 80s at Irvine Meadows Ampitheater in California...He sat on a stool with his harmonica and acoustic guitar and did the Harvest album and about 10 more songs.... picture this ( I was high on mushrooms) it was a crystal clear night Full moon rising on the rise behind the stage coming up while he sang for us...I can still picture it vividly...So grateful for that....you obviously have a good ❤️ wishing you and yours blessings... He plays an excellent 12 string guitar. He plays his old pump organ so beautifully. Notice his left foot pumping. I think that old piano has been with him a long time. All so perfectly tuned!😊🎼🎹

I’m soon to be 57. Many girlfriends, and even a couple real Loves. Been listening to a lot of Neil Young lately. I get chills… I don’t even know why, other than the melodies and lyrics seem to trigger something in my (not so) unconscious mind. Thrasher is absolutely my #1 N.Young song, and I’m not even sure why. Just love it beyond words…

saw some shows with PEARL JAM where they did songs from Mirror Ball of course including an electric version of "Throw your hatred down".... That was fantastic! This acoustic version is also outstanding. Great that he is doing this track in these dark days in 2023 again as he did at the Roxy Theatre in L.A. Thanks Neil, we love you over here in Germany!
