Nel is literally the reason i started watching Bleach. Friend was watching this episode for the first time where she transforms and i was watching with him without even knowing what anime was, saw this little fight and went home to watch every episode to this point pretty much... This fight got me into anime.

@@asianpersuasion4901 . Nah, the law doesn't let "really 800 years old" slide in court. Judges have to be able to look at a picture and say if they think it's an adult or not. Unless they have watched anime before, you lose 100% of the time

Nel is one of my favorite Bleach characters. Even though she’s got her grownup body back you see she still has that little kid in there when she’s hugging(crushing) Ichigo. As far as how strong she is? Even though time has passed and other Espada have had the chance to get stronger Nel is still a beast. The way she was able to cut Nnoitra is proof of that.

Imagine if we ever get to see Nel vs Halibel. They probably won't if it was based on Bleach's current lore, but let's say they had to fight for some reason. Both of them are Vasto Lordes but imo I think Nel would win.

Yes, it was tortuture watching it weekly back when it was airing. And then there's just a straight up break coming up pretty soon. There was no filler, it was just off the air for a while.

At one point Nell was ranked just 2 levels below the king of Hueco Munro, that either speaks volumes to Nell’s power or it says that before Aizen came along the espada weren’t that great

She was stronger before her mask got cracked. Her spirit energy is unstable now. It gets fixed later in the series though.

The flashbacks were so long because of the filler block. I took almost a year so the people who watched Bleach on TV needed a refresher of the past canon episodes.

The reason why these episodes had a lot of recap is because of the filler episodes that took almost 6 months(maybe more), so the recaps made a lot of sense

@SuperMechaFrieza Here's my theory about Grimmjow. Like you said, I really think that he doesn't want to fight Ichigo that time. Rather, I think that he wants Ichigo to get the hell out of there quickly., because he knew there will be someone else that will attack Ichigo sooner or later. Don't get me wrong saying that Grimmjow is being nice or that. Grimmjow only sees Ichigo as a rival and forever will be. The way he act that really reminds me when Dordoni forced Ichigo to run by threatening to kill Nel. Hands down to badass Grimmjow...
