I think this is my favorite of their cover songs. Hazuki coming in with harmonizing vocals in the chorus elevates it to a whole other level

Personally I prefer this one over the Trooper. It fits her voice better really. One thing I like about these early covers is they were still more of a side project, and these were jam sessions with all the fun that goes along with it. Great reaction!

Love this cover. Nemophila always tries and pay homage to the original artists. They will dress like the artist or makeup or dance moves or something from the original artist. I feel this makes them the best band at covering songs.

The thing they did totally right too by the way by choosing their covers from Iron Maiden was actually selecting 2 songs that were composed at the time Iron Maiden still had only 2 guitarists in the lineup. It was only later that they went with 3 guitars (which was the right choice btw). I totally love your smile when you listen at them. It totally shows how they won you over, and honnestly it's lovely. That's all the talk needed. They won me over with their Iron Maiden covers. Sorry by the way not to have come and commented more lately on your channel, was just not in a mood of discovering new bands I don't listen (and better stay away than bring negativity). I have been a huge Iron Maiden fan for 40 years now (The Number of the Beast was my intro). This video was my introduction to Nemophila. I had already been listening to many Japanese bands so I had high expectations of the musicianship. I was most interested in how the vocals would be handled. Needless to say, I was blown away. For me, Mayu is still the standard in Japan for pure female rock vocalists. Saiki and Fuki are still my favorites. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see Saki in the band. I already knew her from Mary's Blood so I did a double take when I saw her on guitar. As you have already discovered (I will go back and watch some of your past videos) Japan is blessed with some amazing female guitarists. I don't think you have heard who might be the best of them all. She goes by the name Hal-Ca and she is part of a 3 piece metal band (two brothers are on drums and bass). The band is Asterism and you need to watch their live performance of the song Dawn. They are in a small club and the video appears to be shot on a cell phone but the sound is still surprisingly good. The song itself is an 8 or 9 minute instrumental masterpiece and she gives one of the best guitar performances I have seen in years. I believe she was only 16 or 17 at the time. I agree this is better then The Trooper. Remember though Maiden only had 2 guitars during the 80’s so they fit the lineup well.
