Thanks for coming back to Nemophila. Love this band, one of my favorite of the Japanese bands. Nemophila is a 5 petal blue and white flower, native primarily to the western US. They named the band after a flower because they are all female. Yes they use 7 strings, Hazuki has the Ibanez, and Saki plays Killer guitars. Hariguchi-san plays a Sadowski 5 string bass. Tamu Murata on Tama drums. Many people think Tamu is quite good, she was a highly in demand session drummer before the band formed in 2019.Oiran is their first ever single, released in 2020, and included on the debut album, Revive. 3rd album came out in January. A few months ago, Saki decided to leave the band, an amicable split. The band will continue as a 4 piece, with lead singer Mayu playing some guitar, and solos being more bass and guitar. Other songs to try: Zen(official live) is one of their heaviest songs. Also Dissension, Adabana, and Ame-te-ras.

Saki plays Japanese brand Killer guitars. Killer is a company co-founded by Akira Takasaki and distributed by ESP. If you compare earlier Loudness videos to the most recent ones, you'll notice Akira's iconic red ESP Random Star is the same style as his current signature Killer models, with the exception of the cool looking spear headstock on the Killer model. The brand name Killer comes from how Japanese like to have fun with the way they mispronounce their "L"s in a way that comes out sounding like an "R". So saying killer comes out sounding like kirra, which becomes a play on Takasaki's first names A(kira). I've heard it was from hearing himself described as "a killer" guitarist (a kirra guitarist), but can't say for certain. In any case, Saki is the only artist endorsed by Killer guitars (gives you an idea of her skill level); with her signature 7 string Empress model. Nemophila does have an older cover of Loudness' "Crazy Doctor" where in the video Saki plays a signature Takasaki Killer Random Star, which I believe was gifted by Akira. When Nemo toured with Loudness 4 years ago they would play "Crazy Doctor" together as an encore, and Saki and Akira would twin lead the solo, which again gives you an idea of her skill level because you can't eff up. Then most recently, Nemo did a cover of "Crazy Nights" as a 4 piece after Saki left the band, and in a recent summer tour with Loudness, Hazuki plays the "Crazy Nights" solo twin lead with Akira. As for Hazuki, she's Ibanez endorsed and a technical wizard. You can get a good sense of her skill level in a few Ibanez videos where she's demoing her signature Ibanez products by playing technical Vai like instrumentals.

Nemophila is a small blue flower. Mostly it is blue but also comes in pink, white, and white with purple does. There are parks in Japan with rolling hills completely covered in a sea of these flowers and are very popular with visitors/tourists. Guitarist Saki (your stage right) has her signature 7-string Killer KG-Fascinator Seven the Empress (with Galaxy black petals). Costs over $2400 USD new or $1700-2100 USD pre-owned. Killer Guitar is made by ESP and was founded by Loudness guitarist Akira Takasaki and is a mentor to Saki . But you might have already known about that. Saki has since left Nemophila since March 31st of this year over a month after they played at Tokyo Budokon to pursue her solo career and has released an album right after. Two MVs have been released on her channel, the latest today only 10 hours ago. Hazuki (your stage left and pony tail) plays with a number of Ibanez models. The one in the video is an Ibanez j custom 7 string RG8527ZRBS 2020 - Royal Blue Sapphire and costs $3000 USD pre-owned or $4200 USD pre-owned near mint but good luck trying find that one new. Hazuki is sponsored by Ibanez and has her side project band, KOIAI that includes 19 year old guitarist prodigy Lis-sa-X, ex-IRONBUNNY vocalist Kotono, and 21 year old drumming prodigy Kanade Sato who is also the drummer for the fusion rock band Muses and the Jazz band Ear Candy Jazz Factory. Hazuki also does scheduled guitar playing clinics for the fans.

Hazuki is an Ibanez artist and she has her own signature model. She is also in a band called KOIAI with amazing young guitarists Li-sa-X (another Ibanez endorsee). SAKI has been a Killer Guitars artist for years and also has her own signature model. She is a pretty famous guitarist in Japan. Tamu Murata is a very well respected drummer in Japan - she plays multiple genres including jazz. She has breezed her way through KZfaq drum covers of Dream Theater songs without even dropping the smile. She is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing sax, keyboards, guitar, bass, xylophone etc.. So, yeah, they're "pretty good", lol. And no, we sure as hell are NOT going to refer to the fans as "Nemophiliacs". The band is called N E M O P H I L A. There is no second "I" and I don't know why reactors keep thinking they see one. I guess people see what they expect to see. The name is that of a blue flower, not a disease. Remember, this is a young Japanese band, not a cliched bunch of old American, Canadian or European dudes trying to sound sinister - so, a flower, not a disease.

Start with the name Nemo phila not what your doing the e is eh sound then the end is ila .logo is 5 petals blue flower .The band has now gone to 1 guitarist Hazuki 4 piece .They play a vast array of sounds try Adabana or one of the evolution re done tracks as a 4 next just go to there YT channel .band known as the fluffy band from hell ,super fun always delivering the goods .
