@@Crozbozy i don't like it that much he requires entires chapters of explanation for every ability you can do pretty much anything, and yet few people use it right you cant' predict anything, because everything can happen

@@Crozbozy specialists are cool because the characters can have even more different powers, but I think there are a few too many in the series

Apparently Togashi already completed the blueprint for the next 10 chapters. And it has to come soon because hes releasing 1 Manga Volume (10 chapters) every year. Togashi released 20 chapters last year, so the latest manga volume came out this year. But soon he will have to release a minimum of 10 chapters for the HxH manga volume in 2020. And according to Togashi, he takes time during his haitus to plan wayyy ahead in the story. So many intricate little plots to keep tabs on

@Jordan Vance Nope Togashi said that he regretted ending Yu Yu Hakusho all those years ago. And that if he could, he would continue it. So he decided that hes going to keep Hunter x Hunter ongoing. And he also literally said, hes going to finish Hunter x Hunter or die. (He comes out of retirement just to write HxH because he loves it)

At this point I would accept Togashi writing HxH as a novel and give concept art characters, nen abilities, creatures, items, enviroments, ect.

I'm just waiting for a certain clown's fight to be animated already 😢

The fact that we don’t even learn what it is until after the hunter exam is one of my favorites. The only thing I don’t like about it is that after learning it, Gon stopped using this 🎣. But now that his nen is tapped, I have hope he’ll come back with it.

Yordy Cosme The main reason? What about the amazing story? The wonderful and great characters? The complicated and strange world?

Arcus Lux all of those are super valid reasons, but for me personally I just love the complexity and variety that Nen presents as a power system and the implications in the world building.

I thought it was more Ko than Ren, because of how he enhanced his nails specifically to make them sharper, and how he can enhance the strength of certain parts (eg. his arms) as a part of his training? If he subconsciously knew Ren, wouldn't that have subconsciously protected him against Hisoka's bloodlust during the Heaven's Arena arc?

I guess manipulation should be enough to achieve that, although you would probably need to be a pretty gifted or well-trained manipulator. But for example, Illumi could manipulate his own body to look like Hisoka (although he mentioned this is a rather difficult technique to maintain without the help of his needles that seem to stick the changes in place), so it's probably possible to help maneuver one's aging process. If you use a dangerous condition it shouldn't even be so hard, say, if you were willing to reduce your own lifespan by the same amount you make their bodies regress to, or if you had to take that lifespan from dangerous beasts or powerful enemies.

You don't even need to be a Specialist to do that. You can just be a supportive Enhancer instead. Enhancing health, healing, vitality and vigour. With 80% Emission efficiency, you can project your enhancement from long distances. With 80% Transmutation efficiency, you can give attributes to your enhancement such as warmth, cool, breeze, coziness, fluffiness and others.

And you could always combine them. Example, make a suit of sleek armor that enhances your physical stats and or usage of other abilities and nen types, and to make much more potent temporarily restrict the use of certain abilities or nen types

Ging wouldn't gain anything but damage. However, Ging's ability is that he can copy a nen attack or hatsu on the condition that he gets hit by it and survives. If he gets hit by Netero's 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva, he pretty much will be ground beef.

@@BlaqueValue Not really he just has to master them. The only down side to his Jajanken was the charge time was to long. If he could charge his Nen alot faster like Uvogin does his Big Bang Impact he'd be a serious problem. With rock alone he'd be able to kill pro hunters like Knuckle or Morel it can be very dangerous. It's already a powerful move people just don't like it because it isn't intricate like Killua's Godspeed or Kurapika's abilities.

Gon is a child, after all, just needs some years to perfect his abilities and be a real powerhouse as an adult

Neither Enhancement is limited to enhancing physical abilities, nor is Manipulation limited to manipulating physical objects. It's all up to your creativity.

Not only that but you conjure a better version of whatever you wanted!
