Because he is painting with keys! Every touch is so important, the intensity, velocity and the passion, its all part of the big theme in his head and he is literally whispering to the keys as if its something living and breathing! its ridiculously moving! First time I listened to that masterpiece I was in Taba Egypt, I was not only mesmerised by the music but by the nature I will never forget it.

I'm not sure you have this right. The calm and sorrow come from the music. That's what he wants to put in it. I bet you if Ludovico would play some piece that needs "flamboyance" in it, he probably would be that way at the piano too. That's what music is about : not just sound, but emotions and feelings of any kind. Music should not be listened to. It should be lived and felt in your soul.

Будучи подростком, я был вынужден прекратить брать уроки игры на фортепиано (у меня уже было 10 лет уроков), потому что моя мать больше не могла себе этого позволить. У нас никогда не было пианино, потому что оно было слишком дорогим. Я иногда играю, когда вижу пианино, но это не часто. Это все еще моя страсть играть и мечта купить себе когда-нибудь красивое пианино. А потом я надеваю наушники, слушаю эту песню и притворяюсь, что играю.

2020 was for all of us a dramatic year. For me the most dramatic so far. I've lost my beloved mother in a car accident. After 6 months of intensive care she passed away smoothly hand in my hand. It was a normal morning for many, a special one for me. With Ludovico' Una Mattina playing in the background, she returned to her heavenly home. Thanks Ludovico for this masterpiece... #LudovicoEinaudi

I was going through a very difficult time in my marriage when this song came out, and I was feeling distraught, hopeless, and alone. It seemed like every time I got in the car and turned the radio on, this song was playing and tears would steam down my face. It was the perfect reminder to me that no matter what happened, my hope was in Christ alone and He would never let me down. Eventually, God restored my marriage and He continues to be my hope no matter what I have to face in this life.

The diffrence between Ludovico and all the other composers is, that he dosen‘t try to impress with complicity. Yiruma and all the other Pianists make songs that reach your ear. They try to mark their pieces with their capability. Ludovico marks his pieces with his soul thats why it goes straight to your heart. Ludvico plays side by side with all his demons.

I have just found out I no longer have a job, I can't find a new one, I have been searching for the last couple of months but heard nothing back. I am now in the middle of a Typhoon labelled a category red, I am stuck indoors with a hot cup of English breakfast tea and the sound of the rain and heavy-winds up to 200kmph (125mph) pounding against my large glass windows, listening to this remarkable man on my loud speaker. It's a true ASMR experience. Isn't it ironic how we come into this world with nothing, we then try to hold on to things that never did belong to us and then we leave with nothing. It feels to me like we are born into a Matrix paradigm until the plug is unplugged on the other side by a being that we will never know during this human experience.

This masterpiece of music highlights every aspect of the human soul. Ludovico can trip you from the darkest depths up to the highest point of heaven...and back again. His music includes everything sadness, hope, bitterness, joy, memories, loss....and anything in between. He nudes you....and you can't hide...from yourself. And he is the Master of this emotions every time he is touching the piano. How many people can touch your mind and your soul with their fingertips...on a piano?

Every year in musics class someone played this piece for the practical test. I always wondered about the title but I never could find it. Today, I was finally smart enough to use Shazam and I don't regret it. It's such a beautiful piece. Sad, emotional but also strong at the same time, but a calm kind of strength. It's amazing. I can't describe how much I love this song.

A lot of people tried to play his piece but no one could play it the way he does. His fingers are landing so gently on the notes and you can feel his soul breathing in every note....listening to it is just like a dream... Amazing.
