@@quanathan yep, i was right, apparently the bots are trying to promote a "free" movie site, the site allows you to pay to become a premium member but from what i heard, it lies and immediately charges you money or something, can't remember rn Ok just did a quick search and apparently, you are able to get premium for "1$", you'll however be unable to see any movie nor unsubscribe, and will be charged $157 the very next day, what a bunch of motherfuckers man.

About 8:28, Indeed there is a DLC Costume on GoW3 called Phantom of Chaos, strongly inspired in this design

The first video demo showing early gameplay of gow felt like it had a both dark and obviously grim story while it felt like Kratos felt a bit cartoony with his run animation, and I'm glad they changed that. Although the original concepts of Kratos looked pretty cool, I think the final design made him look more like a God of war than just a spartan that was given the name "God of war"

Some of this came in the dvd of the game, in "extras" right? I sold it so long ago but i stll remember some of this

im 3 years too late, but yes specifically, i had the "greatest hits" version of the game for ps2, and i remember the extras section, which showcased this alpha version of the game.. as for the rest, i remember some bewbs, monsters.. oh and square square triangle... repeat repeat repeat

15:02 i gotta say the beta version of health/magic bar HUD Is better the final one. One of the things i like in modern games is that all the HUD is simplified and is as small as possible so it doesn't clutter up the screen. While the final HUD in GOW is cool&all, its taking up a lot of screen real estate when all its supposed to do is show me 3 meters and a magic icon lol

Idk if it's just your perspective, but I like the final one better. It shows how much effort the devs gave to design the blade. In the beta version, the blade from the HUD looks very lackluster. Sure it's straight forward, but it's far behind from the one we finally got. Also, it doesn't really take much space from the screen. I have never experienced any issues with the HUD blocking my view, so it's good as it is.

@@tarouou4988 Video Games are an immersive experience, everything you see on screen should be the game world. HUD should be ideally as minimalistic as possible while blending the background like *for ex:* In RE2 Remake, the hud shows you bullets on screen with numbers, there's no elaborate HUD like in RE4. In fact, RE games never had a HUD outside pause menu until RE4. Gow1-3 HUD graphics are pretty but i'd still prefer to see more of the game world. Horror games(RE,SH,Dead Space) were ahead of the curve on minimalistic HUD and it eventually became the standard. Now all modern games have minimalist HUD, including GoW 4&Ragnarock.

It's not because of that. It's because in the flashback scenes before he became the Ghost of Sparta they tried to give his skin a tan olive complexion, however I think they made it a little too dark and that's why people argue over whether or not Kratos is black

@@mbrillon765yeah, it's that and the fact that he's been voiced by black men (which is silly, by that logic Samurai Jack is black). It's basically a telephone game, one person got it wrong, passed it around and the people who don't know any better took it as absolute truth (and they'll die on that hill, believe me).

What pisses me off is that argument: "we didn't have time". I'm not blaming the guys that did a great job making this game, but the company. It could be a greater masterpiece if they "did" have time to dedicate on that concepts. It's such a shame when all what we see is for business and not art for art.

They got to pay the salaries which is funded by investors, investors are the ones who pushes game studios do everything fast and ASAP! And i think that's important too otherwise it will take decades!
