The first Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) clinic in Canada opened in 2018 in Surrey BC. Nephrologist (a doctor who specializes in treating kidney diseases), Dr. Mike Bevilacqua was on hand for this inaugural clinic opening and sat down with PLUGGED IN to talk about what PKD is and how it affects the kidneys. This is part 1 of the interview.
