The live game was fun to watch (watched it tuesday). You were playing so well (and will I never ever be as good as you), but the fact that it was Nepo and you were low on time killed all chances at a well deserved draw.

Some openings can be played for fifteen years straight and you're still not finished exploring it. Tartakower may look like it's opening up and simplifying but it remains a super complex and fun game that can be played out to a fun draw, if you're good enough.

I use the caro-kann whenever I have the black pieces now, every time. I usually open with queens gambit when I have white but when I'm black it's caro-kann every time. And that's what seems to work for me. Love the caro-kann. Thanks for your teaching and sharing knowledge, really appreciate your time and videos. God bless. 👍🧡✝️🇺🇸🧡👍

Would you not have been up three pieces to two at the end of the mid-game? what am I missing here? Watch the hero worship. This is a competitive sport. Focus and stop hero worshipping. I have a sport performance background - and I am learning chess. No hero worship - respect the opponent but give yourself credit. Romanian Junior Champion vs some other guy who is excellent as well.
