"I think I've worked out how to get that ending". You get the ending that unlocks endless mode by not siding with the Order of the Ezic Star. That's it, you just need to be loyal to Arstotzka.

I always alternate between having either food or heat since it is more efficient and buying higher apartment actually helps with this method.

19:26 "This guard is sort of your friend, he's helped you out a fair bit". That objectively false. He does absolutely nothing to help you prior to letting his girlfriend through. His one job, protecting you from terrorists, he is terrible at due to his poor aim (which he admits to), so you constantly have to do his job for him and keep him alive. It's only after letting Elisa through, that he actually helps you.

I actually think it's easier to immerse yourself in the game when it looks like this. When games try to do human faces realistically it never looks right. We're still in the uncanny valley with that.

the endless mode is basically just challenges. kinda disappointing, but also allot more fun, where you REALLY have to scrutinize everything in every paper handed to you. one of the best games i've played in some years.

Pirating games can help the developers. Lets say that someone plays portal, but it's pirated. He loves it, so he gives it praise- tells his friends. That would increase the amount of money the developers get.
