But if they are afraid of getting their parents alerted and risking their future opportunities by blackmarked as 'kicked out of school due to bullying" that would be much more effective. It should never be about revenge, it should be about 'how do we stop them'

@@sir.confident Back when one of my daughters was in elementary school there was a boy bully. One day on the playground she got the kid in a head lock and pounded him. The next day the bullies mother came charging into the school and wanted to meet the "person who hurt her son". Imagine the mother's shock when she met the "girl" who did it, and she demanded that my daughter be punished and was asked why the playground staff didn't stop her.. I in the mean time was furious that my daughter was pulled out of class by another parent. I got called to come into the school that same day. I was told by the playground staff that the saw what was going on and didn't stop her. That bullies parents had been called in numerous times about her child 's behaviour and never responded to phone calls or letters. Guess what after that beat down by my daughter the kidbullie never her or anybody near her. Apparently the front office of the school showed the bullies mother a list of things he had done and asked her to explain why she never got back to them when they tried to reach her by phone and letters. Believe me I don't condone what my daughter did, but I'm proud of her for standing up for herself.

I've heard that many criminals come from backgrounds similar to Tim's, especially violent offenders and murderers. In fact, about 70% of serial killers have been raised by uncaring, abusive families, and over 90% have spent most of their lives in unsafe, poor conditions. And the fact that we are spending more money and resources on torturing these people after they commit crimes rather than helping those who are in a similar route steer clear from becoming a potential threat to society is unacceptable. With prisons overcrowded, the government budget maintaining prisons and executions that end up in vain, and most of all, the terrible state many countries, including US, are in, there's no need to make it worse. And us electing corrupt politicians, continuing to do nothing more than torturing and killing those for their mistakes, and keeping onto unfair ideologies and expectations of society are just a few out of countless examples of how it is getting worse. At this moment, we're just picking fruit from a plant, not pulling it out from the root. If the root is still there, it can continue to grow. But if the root is damaged or absent, it is more unlikely, possibly impossible, for the result to grow back. (This is an allegory portraying crime as fruit, the tree as the path to a bad future, the environment around the trees as the public, and the nutrients and soil around the roots as the causes of crime, including abuse, poverty, etc. If the tree is still alive, fruit will grow back after it's picked. But if the tree is either destroyed or robbed of its available nutrients, the fruit can't grow back, and while another tree may grow in its place, it won't be anytime soon). I am not justifying their actions or personalities, since nothing, even a bad past, should be an excuse for dangerous or unacceptable behavior (plus two wrongs never make a right, right?). I'm just showing more evidence that we need to help children like them before they become violent, dangerous criminals who deserve to be in a cage for the rest of their live.

Not even being nicer. You don't need to be nicer, you just need to leave people alone. I had a bully when I was in high school. I wasn't they typical kid that was easy to bully though and my bully had been warned several times by myself and others to leave me alone. One day during a school assembly he decided that he was going to push me down the bleachers. Unfortunately for him this led to his downfall. Not only was I faster than him but I also had better balance. Instead of me going down the bleachers he found himself tumbling down. I ran down and started punching him while he was down. The vice-principal pulled me off of him, he went to the hospital with a broken arm, leg and cracked ribs from the fall from the bleachers. His parents tried to go after me and the school to get me expelled and arrested. Even more unfortunately for him the vice-principal as well as several members of the facility and students had actually seen him try to push me off the bleachers and vouched for me that dude had been messing with me for the better part of the year. I ended up getting suspended for a week because I started punching him after he was down but that was the end of the trouble for me. He however, was kicked out of the school and had to be home schooled for the remainder of the year. I did run into him a couple of times after that and we ended up in a legit fight where I ended up actually just kicking his ass. He ended up finding out that just because I hung out with the "nerds" and got good grades didn't make me an easy target. I was always taught to not resort to violence unless there was no other choice but if you do have to you should make it so overwhelming that the other guy doesn't want to FAFO again.

I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately the world we live in punishes those who defend themselves and rewards bully's by allowing them to continue unpunished. Just please keep your good heart and never allow yourself to take it out on anyone other than your tormentors. I'm sure things will get better.

What makes me mad is they don't fight back. I know the movies are fake but still the victims should fight back and if they lose, then they should catch the bullies off guard at a later time. Fortunately I never had to deal with any of that nonsense but if I had ever been in that situation, I would have handled it on the spot by whatever means necessary.

What’s all *that* about?” Yasmine explains and shows them the video of her being introduced to the front wedgie during the beach party at the lake, which had since gone viral on KZfaq; when she admits she’s the bully-turned-outcast who knows what it feels like to be a laughingstock, and suggests they go find Aisha Robinson and thank her for the front wedgie, the 3 ex-bullies refuse, with the blonde female bully saying something like, “We might’ve been bullies once, but we draw the line at doing something like that to someone - and especially someone we’d never even seen before, let alone met.
