@@levy9595 Yeah, and battles last days even in medieval times. Having an entire army show up without announcing they're coming isn't something that happens either. It was clearly just something they did for dramatic purposes. Had the knights of the Vale shown up any earlier and the battle would've never been close to being lost and any later and Jon would've died or been captured. How they made a trip across a continent that's supposed to be the size of South America within what I guess was a couple of days also makes zero sense. Stannis who is supposedly a great general taking a fairly large army into what is basically an arctic setting also makes no sense. He could've just sent a raven to Jon asking if he would support him with Northern lords and take the title of warden and that way wouldn't be risking his entire army. If he says yes then you go.

i mean i really dont understand this attitude. if youve been watching past season 5 you should have already changed your mindset and attitude about the show. the episode was disapointing but even though thats sort of been the feeling for several seasons, they hyped it up so much and battle of the bastards was amazing so you know they could have done better. BUT nevertheless, story-wise this was meh ofc characters have plot armour and ofc d and d are retarded so no rational thinking is allowed and this is what we should have come to expect from the new ways. Some things i find completely unforgivable tho like at the very least fucking make it look like thers a slight chance for a character to get out of a situation before you cut and only cut back when they are unexplainably safe and unharmed.

@@susakuzero I got to disagree. There's no good way to take KL without first harming the general population. They are basically Cersei's hostages probably without realizing it. If food runs low she will let them starve first. If Dany attacks there's no way the city doesn't take major damage. Cersei isn't the type to go down without taking as many people with her as possible even the civilian population. There's no hurry for Dany so I believe she should play the embargo game taking out Euron's ships along with any resupply ships and or any land based resupply. There's still no realistic answer for defending against dragons over open water or open ground with the technology they have. I'm not sure what they have defensively at KL cause Qyburn can be tricky but it's unlikely mobile so cutting off the city, sending interest payments and food to the bottom of the sea all while allowing Dany's and the North's ground forces to recover and train up for the battle of KL seems to make more sense than rushing in to fight. And if the citizens of KL are harmed, oh well, just ask the people of Wintertown how things are going.
