I wonder if this child was ever told it’s okay to be an elegant, beauty, emasculate male and he doesn’t need to be a woman to be beautiful or a model. Calling him a girl and providing him extensive surgery won’t change the objective truth. You are beautiful and elegant. You’re a boy who’s beautiful. There is no love nor compassion in the absence of the truth. It’s okay that you’re a boy who does not engage in stereotypical male activities or wear clothes with the male figure and typical style in mind. You have your own style and flair. You’re an individual. Lying about the objective truth won’t help him accept and love himself anymore than telling him the truth while accepting him and providing him with love. Can we normalize accepting honesty without seeing it as hateful?

@@paris02 did you ask me for honesty while lying at the same time? Kids don’t need to be someone’s forever patient. It’s not fair to them when we help them accept the fact that they are what they are born as, but it’s okay not to conform to the stereotypes of that sex. Transitioning a kid and affirming them in this idea is far less accepting, because it’s basically telling the children that they HAVE to be the other sex in order to enjoy things associated with that sex and that’s not right.

@@paris02 Yes, thank you. I'm her mom and we IN ABSOLUTELY NO WAY pushed her into this. We simply allowed her to share her truth, which is that she identifies as female. I would say this approach and has been successful. Highly recommend every parent to allow their child to explore self-identity. They will grow into happy, confident adults.
