This is gonna be a bit technical: Knockup is the game putting a movement modifier and the debuff airborne on the character. A movement modifier says „go from A to B“ where B can be in any direction, even up. So what happens is that the movement modifier is overwritten by the Tristana W while the airborne debuff is still active. Thatˋs also why something like QSS doesnˋt work on knockups.QSS will remove the airborne debuff but not the movement modifier.

If its intended then her jump should be near equal to unstoppable. And taliyah shouldn't counter her if thats the case. Its just Aatrox w being coded poorly.

If she jumps too early it will still pull, but yea its intended

@@arntry8072 I wouldnt exactly call it "intended" but it is no code error. Many abilities in the game have a cast time. In this clip, Tristana's jump became buffered, but did not finish casting until just after the Aatrox W pulled. In league of legends, there is no sense of vectors, so directional movement can only be overriden entirely or stopped, not combined. TLDR: in league, whichever directional movement was input most recently takes full control, and since Tristana buffered jump, she got to jump out. It requires precise timing but isnt broken.

@@arntry8072 i lol, new forced move input overrides all previous. Some dashes/jumps/blinks are coded as forced move inputs (these have delay on move, like ez E, or urgot E). If you buffer cast in such a way, that it finishes after cc application, then it will override it. I love doing it on blitz hooks as urgot as you can buffer your jump right before he hits pull to then start it and flip blitz mid pull.

Away better primary and secondry rune page. + 36 ad + gathering storm + ingenious hunter (for eclipse powerspike). In the late game, when Aatrox is hitting 1k+ per Q neither of the two keystones makes any big difference
