Magia is the kind of song that marks us forever. The first time I heard it, it was like, "You really thought you were watching an anime about cute magical girls? FOOL !!! Welcome to the hell of this horror show !" So seeing it come back on stage years later, it really did something to me. And the beautiful voice of Nerissa really sublimated it, it’s crazy ! I’ve only seen three successful arrangements of Kalafina songs: The first was by a doujin music group called MelodicTaste. LeeAndLie’s EN cover of Magia was the second. This is the third. One simply does not outperform Kalafina. It usually just doesn’t happen. So I applaud you, Nerri-chan.

Once I got past the PTSD from watching the series, I was able to appreciate this absolute GEM for what it is. Few days ago, Sora covered Hikari no Senritsu and right now, Nerissa is covering Magia What a great week for Kalafina fan. We are so back into 2010-2011 now. Covering Kalafina song alone is a very daring move because you need a very wide vocal range to match Keiko's alto and Wakana's soprano. Nerissa is keep flexing her vocal in just 3 weeks..
