Angie, I SO appreciate your videos. Your channel is one of two that I always refer to when it comes to acting advice. As someone who always had near-debilitating anxiety when it came to music auditions, I never would have thought that I wouldn't love self-tape acting auditions either! I don't get any adrenaline from it and can never seem to get just the right lighting and video quality.

Every time before acting class I get nervous but I literally can’t help it, it just happens. I’m excited for classes now but still feel nervous when I try so hard not to I hate it 😂

It’s true that no one breathes... even my watch reminds me to breathe. 😂 Bryan Cranston also says that casting directors can tell whether you WANT the job or you NEED the job and that it is important to distinguish the two before you go out for the audition. One will help you and one will hinder you. That always stuck with me.

I don't really get nervous; I generally fall into the trap of not caring enough and being indecisive, then regretting that I wasn't more excited/nervous after the fact because than I might have been more focused... so maybe that is a coping method for anxiety.

Hello Angie, I have my first principal role next month. Only a few lines in a feature film. Can you recommend how I can relax with out taking anything? I am already thinking about it. You Mentioned meditation. I guess being confident is key too. Thanks so much! I have learned so much from you.

Hi Angie! 😁 I know that you don't post anymore, but I thought maybe u might see this, I wanted to ask for ur advice on an acting matter! I want to audition for a musical & the character I want to audition for is supposed to be in her 20s but I am only 19 on top of looking like I'm 14. How do I make the casting ppl think I'm as good a actress/candidate as someone in her 20s? I was thinking lots of make up and a mature looking outfit? Let me now I'd you have any advice for me! Ps.
