"The Humdinger" is the third album by a group called Nappy Roots from Kentucky, who make hip hop music. It came out on August 5, 2008, through their own record label, Nappy Roots Entertainment Group, with help from Fontana Distribution. They recorded the album at Treesound Studios in Atlanta and at the Kitchen Studios. Different people helped make the music, like Sol Messiah, James "Groove" Chambers, and others. Some guest singers also joined in, like Slick & Rose, Anthony Hamilton, and Greg Nice.

I had forgotten how good Nappy Roots were! I'm 57 now, my daughter n I used to play there 1st hit cd over n over on road trips back when she was in school...had such a blast together! This brings it back, awesome!

Nacalal the funny thing is, drink cough syrup “lean” has been around since the early 1900’s jazz musicians mixed it with there liquor, it wasn’t till the 90’s when Houston music culture made it big and for the music only. Mumble rap has been around since the 80’s just never made it man stream till literally the music industry realized that glorifying it would triple the growth of hip hop. There is very much still rap like this it’s just what the industry wants to hear.

Oh love, I know your pain; lost my fiance 2019. This jam is on my morning playlist to this day and here I am lifted up at 2:30am in bed. Somehow listening to some our favorite songs got me through a year of deep sadness. I can tell you it gets better. It's strange but it doesn't hurt as much the more time marches on and you're able to process the loss.

Once you've been through the death of a loved one and you see how truly tragic life can (and will) be at times, car troubles or a bad day at work are just little bullshit in comparison. Savor your life while you have it. Life is for living!
