This entire video was shot on an original Polaroid Cube. USA: amzn.to/2wv8oxg at 1080p 30fps. No audio or video post-processing corrections. It really is the best bang-for-buck action cam IMO, and in many ways I like it MORE than my $300+ Sony Action Cam. You can get a Polaroid Cube in Original or PLUS versions. I prefer the original for better audio and colour accuracy. The original is discontinued but very cheap now, get them before there are none left!

The variable rate pistons help a lot, going heavier springs won’t help, just cause it to buck and bounce on small bumps, so you just gotta let these slap some. Your tires are your next enemy. I felt like some soft holeshots or positrons would have worked really well on that surface. Your tires were trapping too much dirt. I raced for years at OCRC in Huntington Beach. I raced my slash in the short course against pros with pro trucks, couldn’t keep up in the least. The pro trucks with a proper setup and good driver will always beat a slash. End of story. Love my slash tho! Pissed off a lot of guys with pro trucks that couldn’t drive or figure out setup.

Dang it! On those traxxas screws I used to put a small dab of CA glue on the back side of the screw head so when it bottoms out on the plastic it bonds to it and helps holding it from unscrewing.

Just put on brand new GTR shocks on my Rustler 4x4 and I'm having the same problem. A 1 foot drop slams the chassis which is ridiculous and the spring doesn't do anything. Going to run it tomorrow and see how goes, otherwise I'm in the market for some better springs.

Should a guy worry about it bottoming out. I put gmade aeration shocks on mine. And different springs. But it still wants to hit bottom on jumps.

Chassis slaps on big jumps is normal. Ideally you want to be able to hold and drop the car from a foot or two and have no chassis slap. Sometimes that’s hard to get dialed in.
