Netflix loves it. It ups the engagement numbers on their videos (which makes it perform better on the algorithm). They’re most likely just having Trixie and Katya react to the audience’s comments which encourages more engagements.

I didn't realize how much I love watching Katya react to content, until the beginning of this video lol I honestly think jump scares are "cheap thrills" too. I enjoy when it's really scary for other reasons, like with a slow build up. Also, love watching Trixie too ❤️
